Really Looks Great
My Hamilton Khaki Field came with a NATO style strap, and while there wasn't anything really wrong with it I've never been a big fan. I wanted something more traditional that would complete that vintage look of the watch. This Barton strap checked all the boxes. It loos great, feels very well made, is comfortable, and the quick release pins actually fit. The reason that I say that the pins actually fit is because I've had a problem with other Barton pins being a little too short to be usable. It wasn't a case of ordering the wrong size strap either. The watch would call for a 24 mm strap, I would order a 24 mm strap, and the pins would be just short enough that the action of putting on the watch would pull the pin out. I also say that it's comfortable. The strap is a little on the stiff side, but not enough to make it uncomfortable.

Looks great but didn't last a year (See Update)
UPDATE: I'm changing my review from 2 to 4 stars thanks to the great customer service from Josh at Barton. I deducted a star because the original band should have lasted longer, & a few of the replacement options I wanted were out of stock but available here on Amazon.I contacted Barton, & it's great to see that they will honor their guarantee even for bands purchased on Amazon. While they didn't have the same Bond strap in stock, they allowed me to choose a canvas strap that looks nice & will break in faster than the nylon did. I'm pleased with the quality of this band & Barton's customer service.ORIGINAL REVIEW: After breaking in the nylon, the band worked wonderfully for my Fossil Gen 6. It was stylish, & sturdy. Unless I was at a formal/special occasion requiring a different watch altogether, this band was perfect & I never even changed it out like I did with my previous watch. But I got up in the middle of the night tonight & the watch fell off my wrist onto the floor. Upon further inspection, there is plastic casing between the nylon that holds the spring bar. This broke on one end of the band, & so did the bar inside that connects to the watch. The part with the spring latch was still in the band, but rest of the bar was missing, along with a section of the casing. If it was just the bar that broke, I would've been okay; I have extra bars. But since the casing broke too, I have to replace the entire band or wear a different watch. This is really disappointing, because the band didn't last a year; I bought it July 2022 & it's early June 2023. And I wasn't doing anything strenuous: I'm in the gym weekly, but it broke while I was sleeping. I've had cheaper, thinner true NATO bands that heavily rely on threading through the bar, yet they lasted longer than a year. I spent more money on a quality Barton band & expected it to last, but unfortunately it didn't.

Rugged quality at a fair price.
I wasn't a fan of the metal bracelet type band on my new watch, so my search brought me to the Barton line of straps. Immediately found an aqua color accented strap which goes perfect with this diver style watch. Top notch quality right out of the pack from the stitching and weave to the brushed metal buckle. Stiff texture at first, but it relaxed comfortably after just a few days of wear. Easy to install and plenty of holes for a perfect fit. Cheers Barton, and thanks!

durable and wont get loose.
Bought this watch band after the original silicone watch band that came with my watch started giving my wrist a rash. Watch band was missing one of the loops but the company replaced it for me. The straps are pretty stiff when I first got them but I tossed them in the wash and they softened up a bit. Over time the band becomes softer and more comfortable without loosing its shape or ability to stay fastened. Sadly, I threw the two halves in a dedicates bag which I forgot to zip all the way at the laundromat. One half slipped out and was lost. Unfortunately it does not look like Barton carries the army green with orange watch bands anymore so it looks like Ill have to choose another color because I am definitely buying a replacement band from them again.

Great color, but why is the nylon so board-stiff?
I just received my Helm Komodo, and the bracelet isn't comfortable. While the watch comes with a single-pass nylon strap, I prefer double-pass when I can get it. In this case, I couldn't get it in the color I wanted, so I went with Barton as they're a well-known brand and they at least had the color I wanted (merlot in Barton-speak).Installation was quite simple, though hampered by the same nylon texture issue I've encountered strapping the watch on...the nylon is remarkably stiff. The spring bar levers make installation a breeze, absent fighting the nylon a bit, both in-between the lugs as well as moving the spring bar sufficiently to install.I have 7.5"/191mm wrists and have 4 additional holes on the strap. The color is exactly what I wanted.I'm hoping part of the stiff band is better durability, at least I hope so, because it isn't doing anything for comfort. I can see this wearing into a comfortable strap over a period of months. I'm between holes, so a softer nap would be appreciated, a bit of stretch and give divine. When you narrow your color down, you have limited options. The Barton fits the color bill and appears sufficiently well-made to last as long as I intend the watch to last, I just know it will be painful love at first.

Gorgeous band; so easy to install
Silicone or rubber watch bands make my arm itch, so this nylon strap was the perfect replacement for the strap on my Smart Watch. Many watch bands cover the back on the watch, which doesn't work for smart watches. This is two piece, just attaching to the ends. Nicer looking band than I expected, but is slightly pricey. Good watch bands are not cheap. I paid 2/3 as much for the band as I did for the watch. You get what you pay for. I recommend this brand, as it seems durable and well made. Very easy to install, with tiny levers to open the pins easily.
