This is a high quality French finishing salt. I was, however, very disappointed that it was not well-packaged. The container was damaged and there was salt all over the shipping container. Seems to me that this item should have been wrapped in bubble paper, given its fragility.

The salt is delicious! Not your ordinary salt at all. The packaging is nice esthetically so makes for a great gift for a gourmet chef. The only problem is Amazon and their lack of packing it before sending. They placed it into a mailing envelope and one of the two packages was crushed and the salt from that package dumped into the envelope . The seller contacted me about the sale/product and I informed her of what happened. She immediately offered a refund or replacement. I asked for replacement as the salt is delicious and she sent it to me without any issues! The seller, Rachel was awesome for following up and correcting Amazon’s lack of packaging. Thanks Rachel! I’ll purchase again from you!

Very good salt and taste is good. Will purchase again if it could be packaged a little more so that it’s not all over the bottom of the box. I only got to use half of it as I don’t know what critters crawled around in the box before

UPDATE: the seller Deal26 reached out and offered me a full refund even though Amazon fulfillment is the one who messed up the order (and wouldn’t replace/refund). I placed another order from them because I enjoyed the salt and they had excellent customer service!Original review: The salt itself is great! (The little bit I was able to taste anyway…) But it came in a poorly packaged box with other loose items and came open during shipping, spilling the entire container of salt everywhere. Amazon says they won’t replace the item even though it’s damaged due to their error. Terrible customer service.

This is the second brand of fleur de sel I have tried. They are both good but this is just a wee bit more lovely!
