Excellent! Almost...
Excellent fit for Kamado Junior and great quality. The bestcast iron grill I've used. Lifting it while hot is a pain in the ass though so make sure you won't have to once you set it over hot charcoal.

NO TOOL
The grate seems well made. The ribs are close together which I like. Problem is I can’t find a cast iron lifter to fit the grate. The spaces between the ribs is too narrow for after market ones to fit. The ad states that a lifter tool is included. There wasn’t one in the box. I see that other customers didn’t get one either. I think this is false advertising. Amazon should correct this.

Heavy Duty Heat Sink, Does a Nice Job!
Don't drop it on your foot. Heavy duty, does a nice job. Still trying to figure out the best way to lift it when it's hot. Being heavy, heat runs through most gloves. The tolerance between the grates on the flat side is tight, which excludes most grate lifting tools. I suggest Kamado Joe make something or redesign the grates just a touch wider. Deciding if I want to get out the grinder or not. We need to be able to lift this thing out to tend our fires.

Where is the tool to remove this grate?
It's good. It'll take the heat that the Joe Jr is capable of. It blocks considerable airflow, so forget about using it with the heat deflector plate. It's a PITA to remove and put back in. I use my ash scraper tool but that's not right. I heard somewhere this was supposed to come with a tool. where is it?
