Are these made using recycled plastic? Or are they compostable? Hate the idea of throwing out a trash bag worth of plastic every two days.

Creating a degradable drawer liner that is still sturdy enough to not fall apart with urine was really the big question for us. Our bags are made a bit thicker with kitty in mind. We did not want them to start decomposing too quickly. Our range of decomposition varies based on diet, litter used, etc. and will break down between 1-5 yrs. Though decomposing time can vary, you can be sure that our bags will decompose unlike other plastic bags.

I have two main cats they are both right aroound dirty pants can this accommodate them

It should be ok, my cat is a rag doll breed and they are of large size. We have been using the Litter-Robot now for two years and we've had no problems. However, you have two cats which means you're going to have to empty the poop drawer and clean the interior more often. I suggest you also purchase the cleaner wipes to keep the inside clean in between maintenance routines.

I love my litter robot but I can’t understand why they make round bags to go into a rectangular litter tray?

Thank you for your question. Open a new waste drawer liner and roll down the edges about four times. Start at the back of the waste drawer and push the rolled edge of the bag into each of the four tabs, keeping the bag taut as you work forward. Make sure the bag is taut across the back and sides, then pull the slack forward toward the carbon filter. Tip: Make sure the bag does not come up past the top of the sides of the waste drawer. You want to make sure the bag sits below the edges, so it cannot be seen by the Drawer Full Indicator lenses and potentially report a false flashing blue Drawer Full Indicator light on the control panel.
