It’s perfect. Has a hole on the end for the cord. I also love that I can just wrap the cord around and put the end into the pouch to keep it out of the way (if that makes sense).

I went ahead and added a button to tie the opening together. The hard drive never fell out but I added it as a precaution. Great purchase.

The media could not be loaded. If you have an external HD, this will be incredibly helpful. This is an item that you’ll wonder how you lived without it. Just make sure the cable you have is long enough. This will fit lots of different shapes and sized HDs

The slot in the bottom allows your cord to come out neatly close to the USB port rather than others I've seen coming out from the top. However, it fit very looses on my Seagate hard drive. The top portion does not stay pulled over and my hard drive slid right out. I think it would be better of the material wasn't so flimsy because the overall design is cool. Or maybe even employ a closing mechanism to keep the top portion attached to the bottom holder to keep storage device in place.

The pouch is a little loose for my super thin drive, would prefer a way to tighten it in such an instance, and the corner keeps popping up like the stickiness doesn’t work. It is nice not having to walk around weirdly with my laptop, so it’s a positive purchase though.

So, my new extra thin laptop has only 1 storage drive, this gives me the ability to add another and not keep the drive flopping around. Since my laptop is black as well it blends in pretty well. So far its holding up really good and has plenty of room for my sandisk ssd.
