It All Began With A Scream Paperback – August 24, 2021

A great deep dive into scream! I honestly couldn’t put it down. So much fun learning how the series was made and to hear first hand accounts of what was going down! If you like the series then what are you waiting for? There’s far too few books about this genre changing franchise! So enjoy the hell out of this one!!!

I really enjoyed this book, and even if the Scream franchise isn't at the top of your list of personal favorites (the appeal of this book is obvious if it IS!), it's also a great look at how its popularity has endured over all these years. This book was well worth my time, and I look forward to more from this author!

If you are a fan of the series, I think this is a fun read. It has a lot of information from the production and release of each film and some info about the upcoming 5th movie.A bit of the factual information I already knew, but the interviews offered new behind the scenes stuff that I hadn't known. I definitely recommend this one!

I'm a Craven fan. Read his biography. This book was a great compliment to Wes and one of the best horror movies ever made. Lots of great info. If I had to give a criticism, I wish there were more behind the scenes photos included in the book.

I am not fan is scary book however my 9 years old grand daughter loves it

This book is a must-read for anyone who loves getting the inside scoop on Scream! I absolutely devoured the behind-the-scenes information and the on-set stories. The author clearly did their research and provides a fascinating look at the production process.However, I did have one minor issue that slightly hampered my enjoyment. Throughout the book, the author would frequently refer back to actors and producers by name, which sometimes led to confusion. I often found myself struggling to recall exactly who they were or which role they played in the films being discussed. It would have been incredibly helpful if, upon reintroducing a name, the author had included a brief parenthetical reminder, such as "(the actor who played [character name])" or "(the producer in charge of [specific task])."This small addition would have significantly improved the reading experience and kept me fully immersed in the narrative. Despite this, I still highly recommend the book for its wealth of fascinating details and captivating anecdotes.Just be prepared to take notes or keep a running list of the key players to avoid getting lost!Now I'm wondering, will there be a part 2 to this? With Scream 5-7?

This book was excellent! I loved getting such an in-depth behind the scenes look at my favorite scary movie franchise! I learned so many new things I never knew before, and it wad enjoyable reading about the processes that go into making movies.

This book is well-researched and features interviews with many stars plus lots of behind the scenes photos. Highly recommend for fans.
