Genuinely impressed with this kit, the screen protectors fit perfectly, the rubber case has all the “holes” in the right places, the lens cap and strap are just great ideas, but the best thing of all is the new battery door with access to the charging port. Why don’t GoPro provide that as standard? I need to test if new door is fully waterproof, but for the price this is an essential kit to protect your investment. Great value for money, and easy to fit and use, and appears to be of high quality and well made. Good stuff!

My main requirement was the battery cover allowing me to set the camera up for time lapse recording via an external supply. The battery cover was extremely easy to install and apart from as we know, not being waterproof. The lock mechanism works as easily as the original, plus on top of this, there is of course a very easy to open rubber cover allowing a USB C cable to be plugged in to the camera while the battery door is closed. The Silicone case first snugly on the Hero 12 and can still be used when using the camera with an external power supply and there are even two lens caps included, one just for the camera alone and a second which fits on the silicone case to cover the lens when the camera is in the case, and a simple cord is included so the lens cap is hooked to the case so the lens cap won't be lost.

Of course this shouldn't be necessary if gopro did a decent job of designing in usability in the first place but I thought this was a pretty comprehensive kit of improvements to the practicality of the gopro. The ability to attach a lanyard is pretty important for an action camera and this has probably already paid for itself. (I really can't believe this should be necessary to add on as an aftermarket mod!) The little door to access the USB socket is invaluable but does defeat the waterproofing, the door itself feels a bit flimsy but the basic problem is the poor original gopro design. The screen protectors were easy to fit and the case itself is a must-have. All told, I recommend this as a worthwhile set of add-ons to deal with the design shortcomings of the Hero camera.

Met my expectations

Bought this product to try and prevent scrapes/scratches - don’t need a heavy duty case. Silicone casing fits perfectly (mic/speaker etc), everything as described came with. I haven’t replaced the battery casing so can’t comment on that. Very happy with product/price paid

Fits the GoPro 10 really well. Comes with a rubber lens caps both for when the case is fitted and for if not using the case. A piece of cord is also supplied which you can use to tie the lens cap to the case (although you'll need to be good at knots, it isn't the sort of cord that knots easily). The screen protectors seem to work well. It comes with a useful extra battery door that has a little door to allow you to connect the USB cable for charging / downloading video without removing the case / opening the whole battery door. Note that this extra door is not waterproof, in fact, at the right angle, you can see light through the little USB flap. So be careful to only use this convenient door on days when the camera won't get wet.

i don't often write reviews but i had to for this cover . all the other parts are spot on but the cover is superb , a snug fit , perfectly crafted to protect and it is 'grabby' so it helps when i handle my GoPro 12 Black . a loop is provided for a wrist strap which is something i have always wanted . very happy with this cover , it couldn't be better , chuffed to bits

Not only did it come exactly as advertised but they also included an extra set of screen protectors in case you damage the first set. Aswell as a lanyard you can attach so you don’t have to worry about dropping it. Fits perfectly on my GoPro hero 11, the quality was perfect, Amazing value for money, easy to install, and most importantly it’s functional. Works great at protecting my GoPro from drops if any of my mounts fail. All around an incredible product! Can’t wait to beat up my GoPro lol All around a

Great little case for the GoPro Hero 12! The silicone fits perfectly and gives the camera a nice layer of protection without making it bulky. It’s way easier to grip now, especially if your hands are wet. The black color looks clean and simple, which I like. What’s really nice is that it even comes with a replacement cover, so getting to the charging port is way easier. Small detail, but super handy. Overall, definitely worth it if you want to keep your GoPro safe and looking good.
