Best Sugar Replacement for Ice Cream!
I tried many different sugar replacements to make sugar free ice cream (using the créme anglaise base method) and every one re-crystalized and turned rock hard when frozen. Allulose is the only one that won't do this and freezes and sweetens beautifully. It's not quite as sweet one-for-one as sugar, so you need to adjust. It IS a bit expensive, but well worth it as there is no aftertaste or "cooling" effect like you get from other sweeteners.

This stuff is great
I’m on my third bag of this Allulose. I really love it. I find that when I add it to my smoothie in the morning, I can go a lot longer before needing to eat again. It isn’t as sweet as sugar, and definitely not as sweet as other artificial sweeteners, but I’ve found that if I add just a pinch of stevia powder along with it, that makes up the difference. I like that it has a low glycemic index and actually helps with blood sugar levels. I’ve seen complaints about it being too lumpy. My first bag was extremely lumpy, so I put it in a zip lok bag and pounded it with the smooth side of my meat mallet. That worked really well. My second bag was perfect, and my current bag has small lumps. I think it’s just the nature of the product, and for the benefits, I’m willing to deal with it. The taste is so much better than other artificial sweeteners. I plan to keep using it. I haven’t tried it in baking because I just don’t bake much anymore, but everything else I’ve used it in has been great. I can put it in things my husband eats and he can’t tell it’s any different than what he’s used to

Naturally product with similar taste to sugar
I like allulose because it is naturally occurring. It is found in figs and raisins. I like that it tastes similar to sugar but it doesn't raise my blood sugar levels. It also doesn't seem to have an aftertaste. Allulose is a perfect low calorie substitute for baking and for your coffee or tea. I like this specific product as it has a good taste and is in a fairly large package so it lasts me a few months.

Update - will continue to use this product
This was touted as a replacement for sugar. It has a low glycemic index, 0.4 calories per gram, and slows stomach emptying. The thought behind why that is good is that one won’t feel hungry for longer. It is said to taste so much like sugar it cannot be detected by their best taste testers. I have no bones with that. This review is about the product itself. I give FIVE stars to the proprietor who I bought it from.I have to use a large amount (32 grams) in my coffee. I still had to add stevia (I gave up). I added the allulose to a nut butter and it was significantly better. It appears there’s a big difference between it’s sweetening effectiveness between liquids and solids. I bought it for coffee. The kicker is, recall that stomach emptying, it gave me serious reflux. I have a BMI of 21. This is a NO for me.UPDATE: this product took a little experimentation on my part. I was able to significantly lower the amount I used to approximately 8 grams- two scoops and found it has eliminated the reflux effect. The product is not what I would call a 1:1 substitution for sugar but it’s pretty close. I am completely new to using allulose so be aware as I write what I found true for me. I have a lot of experimentation I want to do with it in baking. I like that it has a very low glycemic index and the texture of the product is great. It readily dissolves in liquid. I still use stevia a bit to augment the sweetness of allulose. That may change as I get accustomed to using it. I would recommend trying this product out. The seller was great by the way. Just be aware you may have a brief period of adaptation to using allulose. I seem to have had that.

But it does not contain sugar. That is awesome for diabetics.
It’s wonderful. Taste just like sugar. It is great for baking and anything else you use for.

Good Alternative sugar
There are lots of videos on You Tube discussing the advantages of this alternative sugar. It is 70% as sweet as sugar, does not raise the glycemic index, and about 70% of the product is not absorbed but is excreted in the urine. The consistency of the product is like powdered sugar. The taste is sweet and pleasant with no after-taste. Do some research and see if you think it is right for you.

Not very sweet
I bought this because it was supposed to be keto friendly. But I don't like the flavor, it really doesn't add much sweetness to my coffee. It's better to get used to black.
