Bought these to make Eric Kim’s japchae recipe. Yum! Have since bought a second package. It came out delicious.

I bought these to make japchae and it turned out great. Just be sure to follow the instructions exactly because if you don’t they may not turn out. I do suggest boiling them on the longer side. I think the texture is better when they’re cooked longer. Even slightly uncooked they’ll be too hard. 잡채를 만들려고 이걸 샀는데, 정말 맛있게 됐어요. 설명서에 나온 조리법을 정확히 따라야 해요. 그렇지 않으면 잘 안 될 수도 있거든요. 저는 끓이는 시간을 조금 더 길게 하는 걸 추천해요. 그렇게 하면 식감이 더 좋더라고요

I ordered a different brand earlier, and fell in love with sweet potato noodles. What I like about this one over the other is the packaging. It comes with a resealable bag, and the noodles are bundled in three separate bundles. It was easier to take what I needed for a serving and store the rest. The other one came in one bag and the noodles got all tangled up, making it difficult for me to take the amount I need. The noodles would go crosswise and I had a hard time getting the unused noodles into a sealable bag. That said, I’m no expert or connoisseur of sweet potato noodles as I only started to cook with them more recently, but the texture seemed fine, and I enjoy the dishes I’ve made with them.

Pros: Generous noodle length of 20" Holds together well like the thickness absorbs flavors well Settles well. I've tried other brands that left my stomach slightly unsettled. Con: There is a Prop 65 warning on the back bottom of the package and not revealed in product images or description. Asked Rufus "Do these have a Prop 65 warning?" Rufus answered "The product information and customer reviews do not mention any Prop 65 warning for APEXY Sweet Potato Glass Noodles." Found at least one customer reported last July there is Prop 65 warning. Rufus needs to be updated to correct its claim that customer reviews do not mention the warning on the packaging

These are great - I'm back to buy more - but if you are making Maangchi's japchae recipe be sure to stir after the 10 minute covered cooking, I did not and they really stuck together - my own fault, my dinner guests came in and I got distracted and thought they would be fine as I had turned off the heat. The recipe was still a hit, guests loved it!

I love these. They're so delicious. Easily purchased in large cities but in smaller towns not so easy to find. It's pretty convenient to be able to order them online, especially in a large package like this.

Sturdy noodles, easy to use, and comes with a recipe (in Korean and English) on the package, if you’ve ever wanted to try making this easy and authentic noodle and vegetable side dish. You only need about 1/4 of the package, or half of one bundle of noodles, for about 8 servings, so there’s enough for several batches. A good thing because once you try it you’ll want to make it again and again!
