I’m not sure why some other reviews were negative, because I’m ecstatic!! It’s definitely NOT cheaply made.Yes, it's a little pricey for a costume but the dress rocks! I feel the material is nice, not the best, but it IS good quality. I sew often, and the stitch work is well done and tight. I see no separated/opened seams, beading applied well also. It came a little too long for me, I’m 5’5, so I will need to hem, which I personally like because I know it won’t be too short for me and the large bustle I bought. Really, I think it’s a gorgeous dress, nicely done. For the price they are asking, I feel it’s reasonable with the amount of work that obviously went into its making.I had no issues with how it was shipped. It’s a BIG dress, it’s going to have to be folded to ship.As far as wrinkles, they come out easily with steam and/or a lite iron. There’s just a lot of layers to the dress so it’ll take some time, but they come out.I’m picky, expect good quality when buying something like this and I want let down.I’ll buy from this company again!

I do cowboy action and had been looking to buy a Victorian bustle gown but because of how long it takes to ship I never was in time for my event. I finally ordered it (2 months before the event) and it did not disappoint! I loved that it’s two piece because it gives it an authentic feel and makes it easy to put on. If I order another one I will try to get it custom because I did have to take the train in and adjust the arm holes. I would have needed to get an L to not have to alter the top but the waist is a bit narrow so I had to get XL. I am 5’2 175lbs and boxy waist. I did some additional minor alterations for overall look purposes as I always custom the gowns I get but you can wear it as is. I recommend proper undergarments for this dress to make it look like the product picture as this was what gave dresses structure back then and will make this dress look great ( corset, bustle crinoline, petticoats etc) the color was great and the material was light but did not have a cheap feel.

Was very pleasantly surprised at the overall look and quality of this dress on arrival (especially considering how poor the quality was for a different dress of a similar style I had ordered.)The fabric is gorgeous and I actually really loved the fact that this came in two pieces.Only complaints are:1. The corset top is cut for a shorter person (I’m 5’9” for reference.)2. The corset top really should be a little thicker with some type of lining for more support.3. It came only with a slick red ribbon tie for the corset. Not only was this ribbon bright red (so it didn’t match), but it being thin and slick, there was no way it would hold appropriately. Recommend getting some proper leather cord or even shoestrings (the latter of which I used in desperation.)Overall though, definitely nice and hope to reuse this for other events in the future!

I didn't want to leave a bad review. The color is fantastic, the style is fantastic the cost way too much for what you get. The dress itself is poorly sewn. The back side of the skirt is seen to the side. As other have said the corset strap is RED and sticks out awful from color if dress. The zipper is torn. And the bottom of the dress detail is not even attached.

As a seamstress I was very skeptical about ordering this gown but I just didn't have time to make a new dress for an upcoming event. Upon receiving it I was astounded at the quality and workmanship that went into make this gown. The seams were reinforced with ribbon, the pleats were perfect and the fit was just right without any adjustments. I love it. I did spend a good bit of time pressing the pleats and the rest of the gown, but it was worth it. I do recommend wearing a proper corset and bustle petticoat with it to get the proper Victorian silhouette. I loved it so much I ordered another one in a different style.

This dress was perfect. Couldn't have asked for a better one if I had tried one on before buying. I probably could have gotten away with just a bra instead of a corset because of the great design and cut. I would recommend a large bustle as the skirt is actually a little long. I saw it comes in more colors. One is gold and I will be getting it. Definitely much better quality than expected for the price.

Bought this dress because my husband and I wanted to go to the Nutcracker in Victorian wear. The dress blew away my expectations! It's impressive on its own, but with a few accessories it becomes something else! I would highly recommend a corset, but most of all a bustle to really make this dress pop the way it was intended to. I did replace the ribbon on the back with a darker one I had laying around, so it would blend better, as the one it came with was more bright red vs wine red. I bought the 2XL, which fit me nicely - 45x40x55; 5'9" 260lbs. Given that it is made of chiffon, it was a wrinkled mess, but I just threw it in the dryer for 10 minutes and then hung it up on a hanger, worked like a charm. Great quality as well. Will buy from this seller again!

This looked like a dollar tree costume, cheap made and frayed, I wish I had taken a photo but I literally took it straight to ups and returned it. Plus it didn’t fit and I ordered according to my measurements. Don’t order this for a formal occasion you will be disappointed.
