ToneShapers Wiring Kit, for Telecaster HH (Requires 4-Conductor Humbuckers)

Love the kit - I used it to install a set of Seymour Duncan Hot Rails into my Squier Affinity Tele and now it sounds amazing! The tonal options provided by the HH1 with Big Apple wiring are remarkable. Installing new pickups with this set does require some non-trivial soldering skills but the result is worth it. Important note - installing these components in an offshore guitar will require more component replacements as things like knobs and control plates don't really fit but the instructions that come with this package does make this clear.

Works well. Quality parts and good instructions.

Put it into a custom Tele with twin rail humbuckers, sounded great. The 5 way switch gives good strat tones in the second and fourth, and the first third and fifth positions are meaty. Has a treble bleed included, which is a nice touch, and the pots and caps are of excellent quality. Excellent east to follow wire diagram included.

If you're after some quality, single coil tones from your HH Tele, then you'll love this kit. Makes for a very flexible guitar. My only advice to you is a) to know that the 5-way switch is ambidextrous and b) to make sure that your humbucker wiring colour codes are the same as the enclosed wiring diagram. Mine were not and it was difficult to work out which was which as the wiring diagram does not tell you which is north/south, start/end, so all you have to go on is the colours they use for the Seymour Duncan layout, so you have to research that before you can work out if your pickups have the same layout. That said, their support is excellent and the kit is great.
