I was nervous at first being 55, but it is easier to ride than I thought, plus my dog loves when I take her out on runs with it!!This longboard is easy to use and control. You can adjust the speed and direction with the remote, and brake smoothly with the powerful and adjustable braking system. The board is also very stable and responsive, thanks to the high-quality trucks, wheels, and deck.I've taken this to the trail numerous times on a single charge, so the battery life is impressive also! I used to fear hitting a small pebble or rock and being thrown over the front of the board, as those things will stop normal skateboards on a dime! This board, with the large wheels however, will ride smoothly over just about anything! I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to spice up their daily routine or have a blast with their dog. I’ve used for a few weeks. 13 km before I re charged for the first time. It’s not like a standard skate board in that it only freewheels going downhill not on level ground so the batteries have to be charged to ride. The board is heavy. It’s fast and the bigger wheels can ride over asphalt streets. I haven’t fallen at all even going fast. The control connects without any delay and is never a problem. The brakes which is reversed on the wheel on the controller works good. The board can stop fast using the brake. The side lights are built in and work to provide some light for others to see. The board has to be picked up from the motor sides trucks or the side.

I was very skeptical buying an electric skateboard but finally decided to give the Jking all terrain board a try. The price seemed right and it looked like a really good value for an all terrain board.I am so glad I finally decided to buy this board I haven’t had this much fun since I was a kid. They say money can’t buy happiness but it can buy this board and you will be hard pressed not to have a grin ear to ear riding it. I use it to run errands go shopping go to the lake etc. eventually it will pay for itself in the amount I save on gas.As a music teacher I have tons of guitars. But the ones I use every day and take out of the house are my $800 and under guitars. This board fits that bill it’s good to learn on and it’s even good for more advanced riders. Just like guitars when you pay more than $800 you get diminishing returns. Sure a $1600 board will be better but only 20-30% better. This board is where price meets quality. It’s as good or better than most boards in the $1000-1300 price range.I would strongly recommend this board if you want something stable with good range that eats up cracks and bumps for breakfast. An electric skateboard can be dangerous but this is a safe bet. As a music teacher I was not looking to injure myself on a small board with street wheels so this fit perfectly.If you are looking for something to stuff in your backpack that is highly portable this might not be the board for you. But you could still use it for commuting.

This is my first esk8 board, but I have experience with snowboard, rollerblade hockey, skateboard, and wakeboard. You'd better have some pads & helmet. This board is a little bit jerky/torquey. If you stop accelerating with the thumb wheel, then you feel a jerk forward. If you want to go uphill from a stop, then you jerk backwards that could be surprising to newbies. I'm still getting the hang of cruising offroad. It's definite not ALL terrain. It has tremendous trouble with the deep mushy grass around my neighborhood. It's better than a standard skateboard, for example it's good for going over fallen leaves, seeds, twigs on a paved surface. It's really hard to turn at 90-degree sidewalk corners, but nice to carve at around 15 mph on calm neighborhood roads. I ride it for 3 miles sometimes when the weather is nice, not perfectly comfortable but fine for the price. The battery housing gets warm after use, measured it at around 110 deg F. I let it cool a bit before charging after a long ride.Good luck.

I purchased this skateboard in May and it has been a blast to ride! I’m not a surfer or skateboarder but had no problem learning how to shred the streets on this board. The wireless controller allows you to set the speed levels as well as the braking performance. I recommend starting slow and then increasing speed settings as you get comfortable. speed setting 4 is like ludicrous mode on a Tesla😄 It’s freaky fast. This board handles really well and has no issues going over uneven terrain and pulling me up any hills I’ve encountered. Overall I’m super happy with this board for quality and price!

I bought this board approximately 6 months or so months ago and already the battery is puffing up and going bad as well as the belt that spins the wheel just broke today and I almost died. I don't even ride it that often. I literally only ride this thing to and from to get my car cause I live in the city and to and from the gym after work three times a week and my gym is only two miles away. Also I want to add I have to charge my skateboard after two trips to my gym that's a total of maybe ten miles at most. The skateboard is a lot of fun to ride however I can guarantee you can get a board made with better quality and from a company that has customer service you can talk to. There's no way to contact anybody and there's no way to get refunded for anything going bad.Long story short. I 100% happy I got an electric skateboard however I 100% regret buying the J King.
