I grew up deathly allergic to dairy (not lactose intolerant), to where I'd be in the hospital a couple times a year. This went on for most of my childhood and adult life. About 10yrs ago I tried enzymes and found I could enjoy pizza, ice cream, etc...within moderation...because my body was lacking the enzyme to break down certain foods. Since then I've been trying all kinds of brands of enzymes to find out which impacts my wallet the least (cost affordable) and yet gives me the opportunity to enjoy all foods.INGREDIENTS:Pancreatine 4X (porcine) 325mgAmylase 32,500 USPProtease 32,500 USPLipase 2,600 USPAlso, microsystaline cellulose, gelatin (bovine), vegetable magnesium stearate, and silicon dioxide.-- The vegans are going to ignore this product due to the bovine (cow/beef) ingredient.> The challenge with supplements is there are no required standards of measurement. Every brand uses different measurements (HUT, AGU, SU, FIP, etc) and it's so confusing.> Also I have a brand that has Pancreatine 10X @ 75mg. Whereas this is Pancreatine 4X @ 325mg. I don't know if there is simple multiplication to do here or if measurements are determined differently between a 10X and a 4X, regardless of how many milligrams.+ Brand B that works well for me only has 50% of the Protese and Amulase as this one...if both USP measurements are the same.> Brand C that I have has so much more in it than this one (Glucoamylase, Pectinase, Papain, etc.).So if you need something other than the four(4) main ingredients provided here, you may need to look at other brands.+ 100 count for $20 is doable on my wallet, and so much better than brands that only offer 60-70 count for the same price.> Whatever the dose of limited ingredients that are in here, this does act as a laxative and there is a clear evacuation for me the next morning. Some people may not be expecting or wanting this side effect.OVERALL:I just had chicken enchiladas with cheese. Plus, drizzled Mexican Crema (sour cream) on top; plus sprinkled Cotija cheese grated across the side salad and I did NOT get an allergic reaction.These work for me!!

It’s hard to tell sometimes if supplements work. These seem to… and they are easy to swallow. That is incredibly important!

100 capsules taken 3 times a day ... about a month supply.Helps digest food.Several family members have urged me take Enzymes ... so I've been trying a few.This one is a "no go" ... it is beef based and contains milk ... two items that are NOT in my diet list.I'll see if they help my husband.

This is a very good blend of digestive enzyme that work well for me, unlike many other probiotic that cause me some minor issue. Being on a intermittent fasting diet, my body seem to need some help in digesting food in my 2 meals a day plan. I previous tried some probiotic capsule that cause me some minor diarrhea problem but this seem to help with my digestion and minimize bloating. This Amylase, Protease, and Lipase in this enzyme blend capsule especially work well when I'm eating greasy or starchy food such as chicken wings or Singapore rice noodles dish.

This product contains a decent amount of digestive enzymes. I take them with meals to help my food digest better. All it takes is one easy to swallow capsule.

I have used these for about a week and seen no change. I also had some side effects, including nausea and joint pain. These are supposed to be taken 3 times daily with meals to aid in digestion and support a healthy digestive system. I am very familiar with this brand and trust its quality.

Overall good value, and it does work similar to other enzymes in this price range that I've taken. And yes, it also helps with elimination. Mostly safe, but if you google pancreatin, there are some side effects potentially in some people (nausea, diahrea, joint pain, etc)... so I'm guessing not everybody can take this.Has some filler ingredients of silicon dioxide and magnesium stearate.

Maybe my body does not need it? My 3 star rating does not mean that I think any less of this product. I just didn't find it did anything for me personally. I was hoping it would help me digest and move things through my system better, as others have mentioned, but it didn't with me... I have horribly slow digestion, and am always looking for something that might help. Might be good for someone who needs the ingredients of this, but unfortunately not me.
