GUGULUZA Replacement Luggage Wheel Repair Travel Suitcase Parts Wheels,Couple (GW041-2X)

This worked well on a bag with a somewhat different original wheel. Two wheels are provided as left and right corners need shaped but different bases, and it isn’t practical to guide the shopper between the two choices. The replacement wheel has an internal and external base which are screwed together with four screws making a fitting which should be more secure than most original wheels without an internal base. I had to add two additional holes (by hand with a drill bit) and modify the outer base (by grating off plastic to form a curve) to better fit a recess in contours of the case, which had a recess for the external base. All is well and it seems snug enough for the screws to hold well in the plastic of the outer base. Good design and quality and about an hours work with a screw driver, and in my case drill bit and a wood working draper (It’s a grater or rasp tool).

Before buying this, there was a lot of browsing and going "Hmmm", "ahhhh" and "But is that the right size?" key point here is, check the measurements, I pulled out the broken wheel from my case, compared to the listing here to see if they matched, even the design of the fitting itself, looked right, bought it and yeah it worked. The downside was only that the screws that came with the spare wheels are longer than the ones of the original case, I ended up using some of the old screws to make screwing easier. But surely enough they fitted nicely and might have given my suitcase a little extra mileage. I recommend slightly fitting the screws in place first and then screwing them all the way.

This is an excellent product. It was a perfect fit and easy to install on my Samsonite spinner.

Seems good built and quality. However, although plate and screws sockets fit, the height of the screw sockets is not enough to be fixed to my Samsonite cabin luggage. The screw female socket measurements should have been included in the specs of this product. I will use a longer screw as a workaround (if I have one!). For reference of other customers, measuring height/distance from the top of the base plate to the tip of what I call screw female socket: - Short socket: ~1cm (it was ~0.5cm short for my luggage) - Long (on curvature) socket: ~2cm (it was almost same length but it was ok to tighten screw).

Used on an American Tourister. Solid wheels and brackets, possibly more durable than the ones they replaced. The measurements were exactly the same as those shown in the description; the mouldings were not a precise fit, but close enough. While the lower pair of the screws on each side were a useable length the upper two failed to take account of the thickness of the trunk. The plugs on the wheel bracket did not poke though far enough and so the supplied screws were far too short and it was impossible to find the hole into which to screw them. Two pairs of longer thin self-tappers with washers under the heads now seem to have secured the wheels firmly. The repaired case will not be used for some time,,so it is too early to say that the repair is as firm and satisfactory as it looks and feels.

Dimensions shown on the photo attached to the offer are different compare to reality. Most of the dimensions differs by few millimetres, which results in the situation when all the fixing points are in completely different places than advertised. I have ordered that set having in my mind that I might need to make just one extra hole in the suitcase to fix one misaligned screw, but after the delivery and checking the dimensions in reality it looks like I will need to do 3 new holes. It is: - 30 mm instead of 32 mm; - 42 mm instead of 45 mm; - 35 mm instead of 40 mm. Only 33 mm dimension is correct. If somebody is looking for a reliable information in that offer and looking for the best possible match to your suitcase based on the given dimensions, I would totally not recommend this one. Unfortunately this is the closest set of wheels that I have found for my suitcase.

The wheels are of good quality and while it took some effort to fit on the suitcase it does fit perfectly. Very happy with the purchase.

This item (GW149) was an exact fit for the wheels on my Samsonite suitcase. The wheels weren't that easy to fit. Lining up the holes in the wheel and the backing plate was tricky. I got round it by locating the holes with longer screws (don't screw them in all the way as you risk making a hole in the wheel), then replacing them one by one. It was still easier to do with a slightly longer screw than the one supplied. Wheels seem to be of normal quality and saved me buying new suitcase.
