I did this lash lift on my two daughters, ages 20 and 13. We did not do the test area, and I am not skilled as a cosmetologist in any way, shape, or form.I’m not a girly mom at all, but it was really easy to use.My 20-year-old went first as the “guinea pig”, and her first eye was much harder for me to complete than her second eye. I got better as the process went along. It’s kind of hard to get the glue to stick on the eye pillow pad correctly. That is for sure the hardest part. You can’t put too much glue on because it clumps, but if you don’t have enough, the lashes won’t stick on the eye pad.Additionally, we chose the small pillow pad size so their lashes would be more curly. For my 20 year-old, that might have been too curly for her. We think because her eyelashes are already kind of curly, it made them too curled, and now they practically touch her eyelids.The smaller the eye pillow pad size you select, the curlier the eyelashes will end up.But the small was the perfect size for my 13 year-old.They are really picky girls, and they both loved the results. So I felt quite proud of myself! It’s only been about a week, but their eyelashes look amazing.We did not tint them, nor did we tint their eyebrows. They both have really dark brown hair and dark eyelashes so they didn’t need it.One noteworthy thing, if you get the solution on their skin, it will burn them. We didn’t find the sticky pads that hold down the bottom lashes to be helpful, so we just didn’t use those. They kept going in my daughters’ eyes and they did not enjoy it so we elected to take them off.Both of my girls did end up with small somewhat insignificant burns on their eyelids. You can’t really tell much on either of them, except maybe on my 20-year-old. On the very outside corner of her eyelid you can see a little red burn from the solution. But she didn’t seem to mind it, and it went away pretty quickly.We certainly will use again. It took me about 45 min per girl to complete, and that was WITHOUT doing any tinting.Again, I’m no beauty expert! I have no skills when it comes to makeup, nor any application of it. So it’s a small miracle I was able to do it.They both look beautiful and they’re enjoying not having to crimp their eyelashes. They were losing too many eyelashes from doing that.

I'm so glad that I got this kit!! It's the perfect high-maintenance thing you can do for yourself every couple of weeks to keep yourself low maintenance the rest of the time!I wish the instructions were a teeniest bit easier to understand, and there are a few pieces in there that I'm not sure how are supposed to be used, but that doesn't really matter much. The process is pretty simple to do on your own, and takes less than an hour (even less, if you are doing both eyes at the same time). The dye works SUPER well and lasts a long time! The curl looks so natural and beautiful, and so far has lasted 2 weeks.**TIP 1** Do the lash tinting first. Apply petroleum jelly around your eyes, comb the dye through your lashes and use a small brush to get close to the roots. You don't need to stick the curling pads to your eyes to do this process, and that way you can use water to wash the dye off completely without ruining the perm.**TIP 2** When you get to the perm, only apply it to the base/mid of your lashes. AVOID THE TIPS. Perming the tips of your lashes will make them coil back like a pigtail, which is obviously not what you want.Overall, great buy! I will definitely be keeping this as part of my monthly routine from now on!

This is a great product and really does the job!There’s multiple sizes to choose from for your lift, and is honestly pretty easy to do.This was my first time ever lifting my lashes and it took me probably about an hour between doing both the lift and dying of the lashes.I will say though, definitely find a video on YouTube or TikTok to watch beforehand, for the instructions are terrible.. that’s the reason for the 4 stars instead of 5.also, don’t be like me and forget to set a timer for the perm application.. I definitely fried the lashes on my left eye.. they’re now trying to curl WAY too much because of it.. almost reminds me of a pigs tail 😅But the oil that comes with the kit has really helped with nourishing them and slowly bringing them back to life while also calming down the curl to look more natural.All in all, I highly recommend this product.I definitely got a lift and the tint is absolutely amazing.It’s been soooo nice not having to put mascara on everyday considering mascara is a staple for me..If you’ve been thinking about it, just do it!Just watch some how-to videos and jump right in! 😊
