I use this on short hikes and pull It out of a pocket when I delayer. It’s not a substitute for a real daypack, but it is quite handy for any extra short-term storage need. Very lightweight.

This was perfect as a day pack for my thru-hike. I used it as a stuff sack to hold my clothes while hiking, as a daypack when I went on side trips, and as a pillow at night (stuffed with clothes and with my towel wrapped around it). It’s lighter than a drawstring backpack and considerably more comfortable, and it holds a lot. I used a small carabiner to hold the straps together at my sternum and that made it not sag on my back. The straps stayed flat on my shoulders for me, though I imagine if I put lots of heavy things inside then they would have bunched up and been uncomfortable. It packs super small! A very worthwhile purchase. The zipper is also a lot easier to deal with than a drawstring. I’m very glad I bought it and brought it on my trip.

Hands down this is the most versatile piece of gear ever, I love it. My dog and I go for skates in the city. I can bring flip flops, bike lock, bottle of water, and a ball on this bag. Also after you set up a base camp backpacking it’s great as a day pack. Lastly, traveling I would use this cause it’s cheap and light.

I must admit, I was skeptical when I first opened the bag. It seemed so lightweight, I was worried that it would not be able to handle much. I bought it specifically because of its size (about the size of a lime when packed); we were traveling and I needed something to carry necessities while hiking. Upon using the bag, I found it was able to easily accommodate the weight of my hiking needs (first aid kit, water bottle, camera, wallet, etc) and is made out of material that is tougher than you’d expect at first glance. It may look light duty, but it was exactly what I needed. It is likely not the best choice if this is your only pack, but if you use it to hold only what you need until you return to your campsite/hotel, it’s a great option. I would recommend and would buy again.
