Kingsbridge Novels Collection 4 Books Set By Ken Follett (The Evening and the Morning, The Pillars of the Earth, World Without End, A Column of Fire)

Great value, great books! Ken Follett is a master storyteller and these four books make up a fabulous set. Bought for our niece and she can’t wait to start them. I read them as they were published over the years (so out of chronological sequence) but all have been very absorbing especially Pillars of the Earth which left me bereft when I finished it!

I am on the first in the series titled The evening and the morning. Fabulous read. It is a real page turner. If you are looking for a good book, definitely worth a read.

Without saying anything about the actual content of the books themselves. These books are all the same height and will line up very nicely with your normal Uk paperbacks while also standing out, mainly because,they are absolutely massive books (width and page count wise)as someone who hates having mismatching books and wierd size differences on the same shelf this set has been worth the money just for that alone. if you are worried about the paper quality, unless you are purposefully trying to crack the spine or tear out the pages i dont see any issues with binding quality or durability.

Four massive volumes but compelling reading about England in the middle ages. It gives you such a detailed depiction of this era that your history teacher never quite got across. Read this and you will never complain about even the most basic food in front of you that we accept as normal.
