Women's Luna Sandals

I am a UK size 5 and in 2017 ordered my first pair of Luna Haviana's in black. I wore them a lot and took care of them too. Unfortunately a few weeks ago, someone stepped on the sole (near the front of shoes) whilst I was walking which made a tear in the rubber strap, hence making shoes no longer wearable. But I thought this wouldn't be a problem as this style and colour are still available everywhere so I could easily order another pair. In theory this is true, however in reality it is no longer possible (for me anyway). The size chart below is accurate, however I measured my 2017 pair to the ones they now have in a UK size 5, and there is half a centimetre difference. 2017 length was exactly 25cm, 2019 length is only 24.5cm. This may not be a deal breaker for everyone, however it makes the shoe now too tight for me to wear, as well as it being slightly more narrow. I also order the next size up but these are too big as the UK size 6/7 makes the 'flip flop' noise which is exactly what I wanted to avoid, and the reason I chose this style in the first place as it looked and sounded more like a real sandal. Yes I am very disappointed and wanted to just replace my old pair, however I have order two size 5's in the hope it was an error on that single pair but unfortunately for me it is not. I hope someone from the company reads this and feeds back to their designers. I mean I would love for them to do actual shoe sizes or even half sizes. That way I'm sure everyone could find their correct size. Thanks for reading!

These Havaianas with heel strap are great; no 'flip-flopping'. They stay firmly on your feet. Perfect for the beach, in and out of the water or almost anywhere really! I have a narrow, slim foot and was worried that the straps over my slim arch would be too loose but they are fine. Having said that, my standard size 4 foot only just fits on the footbed both widthways and lengthways. This is because I would say these are a true UK size 3.5, EU36.5, not 4. The sizing comparisons given on the website can be very confusing, as UK4 normally equates to EU37 and the Brazilian sizing shown is different again. Although I ordered a size UK4 , the size on the base of the sandal says 35/36 ( Brazilian size). If you are at the top end of a size 4 normally or certainly 4.5, I would recommend you buy the next size up.

I ordered these because my old havaianas had died on me a couple of weeks ago after a good couple of years of being worn almost constantly. It’s the first time I’ve ordered havaianas online (I usually avoid buying shoes via Amazon as I had fake Adidas delivered from a seller a few years ago and it made me suspicious).Very pleased to receive real ones complete with proper packaging and the unmistakable comfort that has me only buying havaianas when I need flip flops as other brands always rub my feet and need breaking in whereas these never do.Very happy. Genuine product. Thumbs up.I did go a size up on my normal because I wanted to make sure the straps are comfortable and that was a good idea.

Super fast delivery - good packaging - look amazing - colour exactly as shown - feel amazing ... like walking on a sponge!! I am norm a 41 as have wide feet - they were a perfect fit for me - no part of foot hanging over the edges!! Would def buy again in another colour !!! Purchased for my little lady, as she's always disliked the unsuitability and instability of flip flops for long-term/all day use throughout summer months.While appearing incredibly cute and stylish, in comparison to flip flops, they're also functional, as the addition of the heel strap ensures that her toes are allowed to splay and not claw (as is common with flip flops) during the mid-stance and toe-off phases of the gait cycle, as the rubber sole of the Luna remains in contact with the soles of her feet (and doesn't fall off), thus, encouraging natural movement of the foot.If fatigued arches and ankles arise after a number of hours spent in flip flops (due to repeated toe gripping), the Havaianas Luna presents an incredibly cute, stylish and functional alternative.

If you don't know this world famous brand by now, where have you been? So cushiony, comfortable, lightweight, durable (within reason, they are flipflops, people!), affordable, large range of colours. Much better than flipflops as they do stay on your feet because of the ankle strap. This is my third pair of Luna Havianas. The first was bought for me by my best friend to wear as a bridesmaid at her wedding nearly 5yrs ago and those, along with my second pair are finally wearing out after being worn all the time every summer since. I will naturally purchase more in the future. I don't mind the suntan pattern either, matches my friends! :D

I bought this pair in July and I am writing a review now in November. I have to say that I liked it so much in the beginning that I ordered more including as a gift. Was disappointed that the same ‘size’ fit varied ever so much that I had to return several. I have worn these ones as my home slippers in my apartment ever since I bought them. When in Istanbul, and the rains came down and wet my shoes and I had to go out urgently, I wore these for a short walk and tram ride. They stood up well.Then last month, as I sat reading, I found my right sandal loose and saw that it had just popped off at the front ‘button’! On that note, given that the front ‘button’ parts below the sole never sat flush and the variations in the sizes and now this ‘breaking up’ I am even wondering if these are Hawaianas! I have a Brazilian friend who has worn them for decades and I have worn them for at least a good 6-7 years, without trouble. Have also got to say that the sticking out ‘buttons’ also chased me to stumble a lot and bend the sandal front. I Wondering if Amazon should look into the suppliers and certify they are Hawaianas licensed, as they are so popular. I may buy another pair and take my chance as it is fabulous to walk in flip flops without the slapping flip flop noise — and there’s nothing else on the market with a back strap.
