Soloist (Single)

I LOVE this idea! It has always been a struggle to keep sheet music from falling off my piano music stand while I'm playing, especially if there are many pages. If I don't have someone to turn pages for me, which is usually the case, then it can be a major problem when the music pages start sliding off while performing at church or other places. I've always had to tape the pages together and hope that they fit somehow up on the stand area. I've even had the many pages taped together start falling off the piano and headed for the floor during a performance. NO FUN. I was a bit surprised that the outside wasn't made of a sturdy thin plastic, but the card stock seems to be pretty sturdy. I do not know how long it will hold up with regular use. The tackiness of the tape for each page is good at first, but once you pull a page off and replace it with another, the tackiness decreases. I'm not sure how long the tackiness of the tape will stay before needing to be replaced. I did like that the instructions stated that the tackiness will decrease over time. But I was surprised that it said it could simply be replaced with double sided tape. Double sided tape would cause music to tear when it was removed, so not sure that is a good idea. Maybe this company can supply replacement tacky tape or something when the tackiness fails. Overall I found this a VERY useful tool when practicing and can certainly see that it would be fabulous for performances too.

This product is great in theory. I am playing several mutli-page pieces right now so I thought this would be handy. However, it only has room for 5 pages so it was not suitable for my 12 page piece that had difficult page turns. Also, it is supposed to be reusable but after only 1 use, the music was detaching from the adhesive strip. In addition, when taking off the protective covering from the adhesive strip, I almost peeled the whole strip off. Maybe a little tab would help remove them easier.

I purchased this music sheet holder for my son who plays the piano and now has loose music sheets to practice for his class. We needed something to keep them organized and this sheet holder does the trick temporarily. The adhesive is strong enough to hold the pages well. I only wish it was made of a more reusable adhesive as the tackiness wears off after a couple of uses. The instructions do say that the adhesive could be replaced by placing a strip of double-sided sticky tape. I have not tried that, yet. The sheetminder material is not very sturdy and easily tears. It would have gotten more stars if it had been laminated for greater durability and to be reusable.

The Sheetminder is sturdy enough to stay in place even if you are using all five pages. My only concern is that the adhesive is not really reusable (like a post-it note) so it is not easy to switch out the pages. That said, I liked it well enough to invest in multiple packs since I am a church pianist and need lots of music.

The Sheet Minder is very helpful for holding up to 5 sheets of 8x11.5" paper. There's adhesive on the bottom and top of each page to hold the sheets in place. It's non-tacky sticky so the sheet won't be permanently pasted. The most helpful part is you can unfold the whole sheet minder to spread across all 5 sheets and read them straight across without having to turn pages constantly. You can use the Sheet Minder by holding it like a two sided book in your hands as a soloist or lay it on a music stand opened up as wide as you need it. It's very helpful as a pianist to lay it wide open on the piano music tray and read straight across. The cardboard is sturdy but not too thick.

I am a church pianist and really needed this folder. It is sturdy and it holds more than one title. I have filled up the folder and plan on buying more to hold additional music. I didn't want to have to change out the music each time I played. There is a place on the cover to write the titles and it will keep the music new longer. I really like this folder.

Saw this product and it couldn't have come at a better time! We recently moved and lost the screws to the music stand part of my piano. So I've been leaning the music but it folds up and falls off. This Sheetminder holds my music in place with just the right amount of stickiness. I can spread out numerous sheets at a time, they stay in place, and there is less interruption in my playing by not having to put up another page. Great idea!

We originally bought a larger Sheetminder product for my older daughter. Well, my youngest decided that she wanted to try one as well. We went with the soloist this time because she gets frustrated when her music falls during a performance. This definitely fit the bill! It holds her pieces in place, and the accordion fold allows her to spread longer pieces across her music stand with ease! I will definitely buy more of these products in the future and have recommended them to the band and orchestra directors at our school!
