If you need an external second monitor this is a great one to get. The size is wonderful as a second screen and gives the capability to go between you computer screen and this screen. Really love my screen. I have used it on the road when I knew I was going to need the second screen.

Truly a pleasant surprise - arrived on time, was exceedingly well packed and worked immediately with my cranky laptop. Great brightness, good color rendition and a wide angle for in impaired viewing. The included cover/folding stand is a bit of a puzzle but once you figure out how to fold it properly the stand works well. It is also a good price!

I absolutely LOVE this portable monitor. It is the same size as my laptop screen. The cover/case acts as the stand. It comes with all the possible connection cables you would need. I connected it to my laptop, and it was powered by my laptop, so no additional plug-in needed. It is so simple to set up and begin using. It is a lifesaver for me when I need to work away from my home office. Very pleased with this purchase.

UPDATE:KYY service read my review and offered to help fix my problem. They first shipped a new USB-C cable to see if I had a defective cable. That didn't work. So they shipped another monitor (full product) for me to try, and that did not work either. However, my son came to visit for Christmas and both of my monitors worked for him. So, we swapped monitors and now we both have working solutions and we are both satisfied. He bought his monitor in October 2022 so maybe there was a small change in manufacturing that allowed his monitor to work with my LG Gram bought in March 2021, while his newer laptop works with all 3 monitors.Somewhat confusing but I am quite happy with KYY service rep Daisy who understood the issue and did everything possible to make it work. In the end we were lucky that my son had bought the same monitor and it worked for me.==========================Original review:I first bought the previous model, version K3. It didn't work from my LG Gram laptop USB-C port to the KYY USB-C port. So I returned it.Visting my son a few days later, he had purchased this model, the K3-1, and he showed that it worked USB-C to -C with his laptop. I tried it with my LG Gram laptop, and lo and behold, it worked! This is great, only one cable to deal with. I did some searching and someone at KYY explained somewhere that the USB-C ports are upgraded. Makes sense, that's why the K3-1 one works, and the K3 does not.So I ordered my own K3-1. Connected it via USB-C to my laptop, and it didn't work. I tried both ports, and different cables, and it just didn't work. I got power, but no video signal, unless I also connected the HDMI cables, which I don't want to do. I tried my phone, and it did work, but only with the lower USB-C port.Tried multiple times, being very certain to plug it in all the way, and just couldn't get it to work, even though this same model laptop that my son had worked fine for me. It must be that the cable provided or the KYY port is just enough out of spec to keep it from working, because nothing changed with my laptop.Why not just use the HDMI cable for video? I just didn't want to bother with two cables. A little too much work to connect when I want second display, and having two cables means it is more prone to bumping and making the display fall over in the somewhat flimsy holder.So, this one gets returned too. I really wanted this to work. I suppose I can try again and see if I get one with a better usb port like my son has, but I think I'm done.

Ordered this to use when working on multiple spreadsheets for work, got so used to it I use it all the time now. Love that it's light enough that I can take it with me when I travel.

Love this monitor. Helps me work remote while traveling and not feel like the laptop monitor is all I have. Love that is charges by the cord plugged into my laptop and does not need a another power cord.

Great buy for someone who travels it’s a lot easier than carrying a regular monitor hooked it up to my PS5 great picture quality I know I see a lot of reviews about sound, but I don’t think the sounds that bad I would recommend for anyone who has a PlayStation

I order a ton of stuff on Amazon and rarely, if ever write reviews as Im happy with most purchases. This one in particular anooyed me to no avail and I feel forced to warn people. So rewind to November 2022 when I first purchased this, at $110, as second screen for my Steam Deck. It was wonnderful!!! Bright and vibrant and I loved that I could pass power through the screen to the Steam Deck via either of the 2 USB-C ports. I rarely used it, mostly for long plane rides so a total of maybe 20-30 hours screen time.Fast forward to last week. I just received a new phone with with video over USB-C. Plugged it into the monitor and all I got was "no signal" and then "power saving mode". All buttons pressed and nothing. I tried power cycling and still nothing. Tried to use my Steam Deck and got the same result. After multiple combinations and using every single USB-C cord I have, I even ordered a Thurnderbolt cable and still no results. I ended up using the mini-HDMI to HDMI cable they supplied the screen with and attached it to a USB port which then also attached to the Steam Deck. This finally worked. Unfortunately, this is not the most ideal set-up. I can now only use the screen as an extended screen for the Steam Deck oin desktop mode. Previously, I could just plug it in and the Steam Deck screen would shut off and everything would show on this portable screen.Ive checked online for solutions and it seems this is something that is common with, not only this brand, but this type of portable screen. A user on Youtube suggested a Thunderbolt cable but, as I said earlier, I tried that to no avail. Im not eligible for a return, which I undersatnd, but as of about 2 months ago, the Amazon product support window closed. Also, it seems the current price for this screen is now $70. A big drop for the $110 I paid just 2 years ago. If anyone is looking to buy this I would suggest the extended warranty as I am not the only person who has had this exact issue.
