Does what it says and required for 8th gen civic
Does what it's suppose to. I deducted 1 star for reason: they do not indicate where to tap the blue wire to. For DIY home installers, this information is crucial. I had to YouTube some videos that talk about tapping the blue antenna wire to the cars "remote" wire. I ended up taping the that blue wire to the new stereo (Sony double din) to the blue "remote amp" wire. Works fine for me.

Great item!!
This item works perfect with the JVC KW-V41BT double din that I installed in my lady's 2007 Honda Pilot. Hooks right up to existing connector and makes it a MALE end to connect to a head unit. The blue cable must also be connected to the power antenna wire so that you receive the best reception. Radio comes in clear and I have no complaints. It did not come with instructions but if you dont know how use google you probably should not be self installing this item.

Glad I ordered this!!
I ordered this just in case I would need it. I'm glad I did. After installing my radio, I realized there was not antenna. I forgot I ordered it honestly. Went back to the amazon box and got it. Fit just like it needed and immediately had stations.

Onéreux par rapport à d’autres produits sans marque, mais la qualité sonore est préservée. Aucun soucis pour le branchement, s’adapte parfaitement.

Chances are, You need it if you're upgrading your stock radio to after market single or double din radios. It was perfect on our 2007 Honda Ody EX. Just remember to connect the blue wire to your "red -accessories +" of your after market radio connector(adapter) and the black goes to the back of your radio power antenna. That was it you're done.
