For the size of the spoon they are heavier, this allows for them to sink deeper and make longer casts. I now catch more trout trolling with these than any other item in my tackle! While I havn't caught any monsters yet (landed) with it, they seem to attract larger fish. I have landed easily over a 100 trout in the last two seasons with this spoon and not one was under 16", most were 3 to 7 pounds! Perfect size for filleting. Rainbow, Cutbow, Cutthroat and Brown's have all hitten these spoons. Even caught a couple Norther Pike. Awesome spoon!

have used this lure in colorado wyoming new mexico and wisconsin it catches fish in all these states

I ordered these for my trip to Colorado... back in 2010 I went fishing on Lake Yellowstone and tore up some cutthroat trout on the lake! I had to buy them for this trip in hopes that they will produce the same outcome!

The best quality, and most effective spoon of this style. Hard to find on the West Coast. Cast easy, and a bit weightier than Acme etc.

Great lure for trout. Thick, casts far and runs deep. I improve it by replacing the treble hook with a single hook and adding a split ring to the front.
