These magnets work great with the iMagnet phone mount! I have that device in my car, and these magnets on the back of phone, iPod, GPS, whatever! They are extremely strong, and will not let your device fall. Great product!

Works great but way over priced. I think next time I will just go to the hardware store and get some thin steel and cut it to size and add some double sided tape! I could probably make 2 dozen of these for the same price.

Doesn't hold heavy phones. I got an iPhone 6 plus. I used both magnets in the case and it didn't hold the phone. Keeps dropping with I'm driving.

I feel as if I was kind of duped into buying this product, but it's probably not worth returning it. So let me tell you my experience and warn you against repeating my error.I was attracted to the well-reviewed iMagnet dashboard mount for smartphones. Those reviews are justified; the iMagnet dashboard mount has been working very well for me and my iPhone. The mount arrives supplied with a choice of magnetic plates to use inside a smartphone case or to attach to the case or the smartphone itself. All-in-all, the iMagnet dashboard mount is a great value.But ... the description of the mount on Amazon makes no mention of its shipping with mounting plates included. Hence, I bought this product, the plates themselves, in addition to the mount. Result: I have a surplus of magnetic plates. And I spent a few bucks needlessly, and contributed to the glut of "stuff" lying around.Unless you have a number of smartphone and other similarly sized and similarly lightweight devices, you won't have a need for this product. The supply of magnetic plates supplied in the package with the iMount is sufficient. I wish the description on Amazon had said so.

I have a Samsung Note 2 so I thought having these in addition to the round one that came with the iMagnet would make it easier to slap my phone on the mount without having to hit right where the round one was in between the case and my phone. But these don't seem to "stick" to the mount as strong as the round one that came with it.

Apply just one of these to the back of a phone case or battery case and apply an adhesive iMagnet to a dashboard and you have the perfect car mount. The rubber face of the iManget and its powerful grip will hold even a large phone and battery case in place driving across railroad tracks or potholes. If you put the plate on the middle of the back, the magnet can hold in either portrait or landscape orientation. Slap the phone on it and go. Surprised these metal plates aren't already built into phone backs and battery case backs. iMagnet also makes suction cup bases for their magnets if you don't want to use adhesive. These are the largest I would get for a phone. Half the size works just fine.

I did not use this for what it is for, I used this on a suction cup window stand for my SiriusXM radio antenna. The antenna is the one that has a magnetic back and goes on roof, well I didnt want it on roof with wire snaked through door all the time, so I found a window suction cup mount that has a flat surface and used this on the surface so i could mount the antenna magneticly to it. Worked like a charm when we drove from NYC to Ft Lauderdale, FL.
