GUPO 7 inch (2Pcs) Stainless Steel Replacement Recliner Sofa Chair Mechanism Tension Spring - Long Neck Hook Style

I called the company I purchased the reclining sofa (two end seats recline), about two broken springs on one of the reclining sections of the sofa. They gave me the number of the supplier who imports the sofa. I called them and they don't stock any replacement springs. No help. Thought about Amazon right away and sure enough, they had the replacement springs. Low cost and worked perfectly. I even called the supplier of the sofa's and told them where to find replacement springs.

Noticed my recliner was missing a spring. This fit prefect and very easy to install.

I used these to help assist my power running boards to close. They work well plus stainless steel so rusting shouldn't be an issue. I could have used 6 or 6.5 inch spring and would be perfect. As of now there is a slight chance they could fall off the frame of the car when running boards are retracted. I have a 2016 lincoln navigator if the running boards seance any restance when retracting the running board will return to the open position. The spring over come the restance from lack of lubrication and rust on the pivot points to keep the running boards on the closing cycle.

The husband is happy with the repair he needed to do.

I like that they are 7” and are stainless steel. Hurt my arm and can’t install them now.

Our "manual" recliner stopped reclining easily, and these springs brought the snappiness back to it. The chair is ten years old; one original spring broke a couple of years ago, and the last spring broke recently. The furniture cost is so high - that we decided to try these springs. They worked well. Just be sure to have a pair of pliers handy to pull the spring into position.
