Functions great!
I had a different brand on my 17 Ram 1500 before it broke and replaced with this brand. This OMT brand works a lot better than my older brand. Easy to install and operation is good. The tube movements are more solid and smoother than older model. Well worth it and hopefully it lasts longer than 3 years.

Put this on a 2015 Ram 1500Pros...Easy installComes with just about everything neededWorks as advertisedCons...The easy to install comes from youtube videos on how to do it. The pictures in the instructions leave out some needed details.The torx wrench provided was the wrong size for my truck.Didn't include needed Allen wrench.Final thoughts...For $20 this is a great addition for your tail gate. Just be sure to watch the YouTube videos before installing.

Easy to install
Installed this on my 2014 dodge ram 1500. Works great and easy to install. It's been on for about 4 months now and no problems.
