Four Canisters of Maple Cotton Candy made with Grade A Golden Maple Syrup -- Great for Parties and Gifts!

Roxbury Mountain Maple cotton candy is absolutely delicious! It has the distinct maple flavor expected & craved. It would receive a 5-Star rating except for two reasons: the lack of more secure containment and the steep price. The box of four, 1 oz. containers arrived within the estimated time. The containers were each filled as shown in the advertised picture—exactly as pictured—meaning that there is no additional plastic holding the lid in place and free from tampering. In this day and age, this seems a tad unsettling as most bakeries have an additional plastic seal to prevent tampering, etc. Also, the canisters are labeled with the phrase, “Eat quickly, or it will melt away!” which is entirely meant to be taken literally as well as figuratively. Having craved maple cotton candy for a year, I couldn’t help but eat one container per day for 4 Days! I did notice that by day three, the canister had some crystallized candy in the center. By day four, there was more crystallization and less fluffiness. At roughly $5.00 per 1 oz., you want the last container to be as wonderful as the first... Perhaps an additional container seal, mentioned earlier, would also resolve this issue by making it more air tight? That said, Roxbury Mountain Maple’s cotton candy is truly as maple-flavored, fluffy and melt-in-your-mouth delicious as one would want, but do, indeed, eat it fast!

Although I love maple everything, I would only splurge on this for someone or some occasion that is extra special. It is very pricey for the amount that you get. Buy it if you are worth it!

This cotton candy is okay: it’s fluffy and silky, and has a good maple flavor. The main reason I only give it 3 stars is the price and the value, as in, the size of the container and the amount of cotton candy that they put in that container.While other companies will stuff as much cotton candy as they can into a smaller container so you really get your money’s worth, this company does not do that. I actually got the opposite impression while eating it- it’s as if it had been “fluffed up” to fill the container. This is disappointing, because I’m a maple cotton candy addict and was looking for a new favorite brand.
