Finally a good analog scale!
This scale is built well and works well. I weigh 225 (for now!) and it does a good job. I've had electronic scales that never work and other, cheaper analog scales that can vary 10 pounds each time you stand on them. But this scale holds its position at zero, and then gives a consistent reading, which is very nice. It's also big, so your feet feet easily. My feet are size 12, but I bet even a 14 would fit. The dial is easy to read, although I still just barely need my glasses to see it exactly. It's an expensive scale, but if you want one that really works, is well built and gives you an accurate, consistent reading, this is it. I'd definitely buy it again.

Accurate and User-Friendly
I recently purchased the Health o Meter Oversized Dial Scale, and I am extremely satisfied with its performance and user-friendly features. This scale has quickly become an essential part of my daily routine, helping me track my weight accurately and effortlessly. The standout feature of this scale is its oversized dial, which makes it incredibly easy to read measurements. The large, clear numbers are visible even from a distance, eliminating any guesswork or squinting. This is particularly helpful for those with visual impairments or anyone who prefers a scale with a clear and legible display. The X Large platform is another notable feature of this scale. It provides ample space for comfortable and stable weighing, accommodating users of various sizes. The non-slip surface ensures that I can step on and off the scale with confidence, without worrying about any slips or accidents. Accuracy is crucial when it comes to weight measurement, and the Health o Meter Oversized Dial Scale delivers on this front. The scale provides consistent and precise readings, allowing me to track my progress with confidence. The sturdy construction of the scale ensures that it remains stable and level, further enhancing its accuracy. The scale’s durability is also worth mentioning. The high-quality materials used in its construction make it sturdy and long-lasting. I appreciate that it can withstand regular use without any signs of wear and tear. The scale’s compact design also makes it easy to store, whether I choose to keep it in the bathroom or tuck it away in a closet. Another aspect that I appreciate about this scale is its simplicity. There are no complicated buttons or settings to navigate through. It is a straightforward and reliable tool for measuring weight, making it suitable for users of all ages and technological comfort levels. Cleaning and maintenance are hassle-free with this scale. The smooth surface is easy to wipe clean, and the dial is resistant to smudging or fading. The scale’s lightweight design also makes it easy to move around if needed. In conclusion, the Health o Meter Oversized Dial Scale is a fantastic addition to any home. Its oversized dial, X Large platform, and accurate measurements make it a user-friendly and reliable tool for tracking weight. I highly recommend this scale for its ease of use, durability, and accurate readings.

Long Term Review - YES!
Hands down, this is the best scale that I have ever owned! I bought this a few years ago, used it almost every single day, and it is still accurate. The large numbers made it easy to watch my daily number drop from 340+lbs to 220lbs. I truly love this scale! It is doctors-office-sturdy and doubles as a decoration in my bathroom. Really, what more could one ask for in a sturdy-cool-looking-accurate-analog-scale? I especially love the fact that this scale does not communicate with any electronic devices! (No batteries either.) Probably not the best anniversary or gift but a great "just-because" gift to yourself. I highly recommend the Health-O-Meter Oversize Scale!

2014 REVIEW...not an old 2011 that you see the most
This is a solid built large good looking scale. The negative reviews I seem to see here are about the scale not being accurate. With a scale that has a calibration dial, you have the "calibrate it" even after every use. it's called "zeroing out". In aerospace workplace we would never think of weighing something without zeroing a scale. No spring loaded scale will automatically go back to zero....unless it is a cheaply made scale that puts a "stop" at zero to stop the needle......which in turn makes the scale not show the true weight.....and you can't put a ten pound weight on a scale and think it will read exactly 10 pounds. If you want to test a scale use a liquid weight not solid.....your body is not a solid weight, it's always moving. if you are not sure the scale is accurate........put something 50 lbs or more on the scale...that you know is 50 lbs...or weight yourself and then carry a 20lb bag of ice or something with you on the scale. I have tested mine and I am very pleased with it's accuracy, and zeroing it out is not problem for me....If you want to be accurate....

Scale is accurate
Once the scale has been placed in its permanent position and zeroed a few times before use, it stays set at zero. This scale is accurate and durable. The numbers are a little small and unless you are looking for a dead-on exact number between what it lists, it's easy to read. This is a great scale.

$20 for a $20 Scale
The scale is reasonably accurate and fairly easy to read. It is very flimsy and must be adjusted after each use. I had an older version of this scale that was lost in a move. It was much better quality; and, it cost considerably more. I am disappointed that I didn't get the "deal" I thought I was getting; but, I cannot complain about the price. If you're looking for a simple, cheap bathroom scale, this isn't a bad choice.

Too Much work
So, I purchased this scale to replace the digital scale we have. The digital scale was not always accurate. You had to step on three times to Geta consistent number. So... we went old school as I am prone to do. When I first got the scale I was impressed. Easy to read, fit right where I wanted to keep it and easy to zero. When I stepped on for the first time I lost another 1.5 lbs! All the arguments I had with my wife about replacing the digital were worth it!! But then the needle did not come back to zero.... I re-zereod and I was 3 lbs heavier. Again it did not come back to zero. So how can I zero the scale. I guess I re-zero each time and cross my fingers? No. Not for me. Weight is the first thing I do as my morning routine and lack any coordination . This is coffee related and a chronic issue with me. So I will keep searching for a scale that fits my needs. One that is stupid proof. Now, pardon me while I go dig the old digital scale out of the trash bin and prepare myself for the heart wrenching "Told you so" from my wife....

Seems to be consistent.
Going from an inconsistent digital scale, to this is a double edged sword. Although the reading or weight is consistent, I can't read it. Now, I've even recently passed my eye exam, with no glasses needed, but I still can barely read the numbers. I can see the markers for every 10 lbs, and kinda see the 5 lb markers but forget reading each pound. So my digital one would give my weight to the tenth of a pound, but it would give me 5 different weights if I tried 5 times. So, it's definitely a trade off, but I guess I'd have to go with the consistent reading, even if I can't see exactly where I am, I have a good idea.
