Amazing knife
Background: I enjoy knives. I usually only buy autos, but needed an edc for chores when I don't want to beat my expensive knives up and/or lose them. Also, this was a "few beers in" purchase, that I wouldn't have normally bought. Product: This knife is great, came relatively sharp, was absolutely beautiful, and after cutting plastic and net wrap off 8 bales, has held its edge well. This is very hard on an edge. I sharpened it tonight, and you can shave with it now. One of my favorite features, and biggest beef with the Kershaw Launch series, is the recessed deep carry clip. I have lost/ caught on something, way to many times with my launch knives due to the clip being to flared at the end. This knife is almost flush, but still easily slides into your pocket. My Carhartt bibs are quite a bit thicker, and still works nicely. The wood is nicely done, flipper action is smooth, but not as good as a Civivi, Damascus blade is beautiful, fits my hand nicely, and extremely well thought out carry clip. I have knives that are 5-8 times the price of this one, and this has been one of my favorite surprise knife purchases to date. I will probably order more for presents for friends and family. Overall one of the best bangs for your buck that I have stumbled across.

Happy with purchase
Got this for the ole lady and and soon as I opened it right away it had a good quality feel and weight to it, the shell handle looks amazing, opens very smoothly and fast and it’s the perfect size, might buy one for myself

Perfect knife for daily use
Very good blade is nice and tight, but flips out smooth and easy. Perfect size to carry daily. The price also didn’t hurt. Wood handle seems to be well made. Overall very functional knife for the price.

Not Damascus
I normally read reviews but don't write them. It's necessary on this knife. It's a very nice knife, super sharp out of the box. I would give 5 starts, except for one thing. IT IS NOT REAL DAMASCUS STEEL. The Damascus pattern is laser etched. It looks very nice, like I said it's a very nice knife and well built, but it is NOT Damascus.

A Fine Wood Handle Knife With No Visible Screws
I am amazed that a knife of this quality can be sold for only around $40. How often do you see a beautifully finished wood handle knife with NO VISIBLE SCREWS in the wood? How did they do that? I wish there were more wood handle knives with totally hidden screws. The wood is nicely framed in polished silver metal, and the substantial blade is real Damascus, and impressively done. This is easily a $150 knife... for about one quarter of that price. My only suggestion for improvement would be the "traffic cone orange" colored backspacer is not a good match for the lovely woodgrain and this needs to be replaced with a black colored backspacer (or brown, or silver, or gray, or ivory,... but not fluorescent orange). Aside from that, this knife a extremely impressive, and quite a bargain.

Pretty but not sharp long enough
I like to run my blades for a bit before posting a review. With that being said. I've now had this blade for about 8 months. I will start off with this, the blade is beautiful. True Damascus. The chrome details stand out and really make it look elegant. The texture in the blade sets it apart from others. You can feel the layers of steel. The only thing I am a bit disappointed with is the edge retention. You better know how to sharpen a blade properly because this blade loses it's edge quickly. I sharpen it 2 times a week minimum. It's a general purpose to for me. I'm a contractor so opening boxes cutting boxes and packages. Occasional pencil sharpening. Nothing to demanding but the edge does go quick (I like a sharp blade though, at all times). I hope this is helpful. If you're buying for looks. Best choice. It is beautiful!

Great pocket knife with custom leather sheath!
As an avid collector of cutlery, I was in the market for a new pocket knife and there is little to complain about this one. Sharp right out of the packaging. The wood scales are a nice dark finish. Quick release with thumb or finger and locks pretty sturdy. Has a lanyard hole (if that's a requirement for you). Fits very snug in the leather sheath it came with which you can wear vertically or horizontally depending on the belt. It's new leather, so may take a bit to weave it through. Snap closure is sturdy and feels durable. I don't have gigantic hands, but only three fingers keep purchase on the scales, I have larger full tang knives I carry and this was bought to just be a pocket knife. The choil is deep, which is good because there is no gimping on the top of the blade but with some file work can be corrected for my needs. The blade has that distinct Damascus look and feel but it sandwiches steel inside the blade and you may see a faint line along the top. Near the butt of the knife there is a unique pattern. There is no pocket clip nor does there be any preset holes to attach one. Overall, I don't have much to complain about. Good price point, blade came as described and the sheath is perfect. I don't like to purchase a blade without a sheath, personally. I would recommend this to any knife enthusiast looking for a simple yet beautiful EDC knife for simple cutting and tooling.
