I wanted to make sure my garage was not easy to get into and this was exactly what I was looking for. It took 5 mins to install and gave me a huge peace of mind. The clamps are heavy duty and don't bend at all.

I purchased this for a barn door style garage door lock. They seem very well constructed with 1 major flaw. The screws that come with them are absolutely horrible. You MUST pre-drill the holes if you are planning on using the supplied screws. They are cross tip aka Phillips head and strip VERY easy. The rest of the product is good. Fits a dried 2x4 snug. Will not work with green lumbar has locking holes for grenade style pins. I can't give a 5 star rating due to the screws. I would recommend using lag bolts instead of screws if this is for outdoor use. But #10 decking screws will work also.

These hooks are great ; they're made durable ; you won't gone wrong with these if you need hooks

These things are the real deal. If you're looking for something sturdy to secure a portal, these will likely be a good start. The included screws were equally beefy, though a bit soft. The order came with drywall thingees (Plastic sockets?) into which the screws can be screwed. I didn't use those because I screwed into the studs.I feel the portal/door I secured with these brackets (and a 2X4 which wasn't included) is much more secure than it had been with the deadbolt. I think the whole wall would come down before the door would open.
