I used the Sunvie landscape low voltage power supply for illuminating the facade of the house. As advertised, it incorporates a toroidal transformer, which is efficient, quiet and does not produce fringing magnetic fields. I was very much impressed by the design quality and assembly.The photocell worked reliably and never caused the light to flicker or cycle.It is very simple to install. It has an overload protection circuit that cuts off power if you add too many light fixtures. It also cuts off power if you remove the load but will restore it if you switch to manual or “always on”.I was so happy with it, I purchased a second one for the backyard.

Easy installation brightens a dark path

This is my second purchase of this item.Power the landscape lights great and no issues at all.Running 12 lights on each one that I own now. Good price and function I would buy again.

Didn’t think about it but the light sensor is in the unit so you must mount the transformer outside in order for it to sense the sunlight and turn on and off… didn’t want it outside in the coastal environment so I was able to use a wifi controlling outlet for a sunrise, sunset operation.

Going in 2nd year with this unit and all the lights and still working great... looking to buy another to add on to my lights.

I am pretty happy with the SUNVIE. This replaced a mechanical timer transformer for the low voltage landscape lights since the timer locked up. I had an electrician review the model I wanted to buy and had to up the wattage to accommodate the number of lights and voltage of lights on the line. It has been 3 months since I installed the box and am very pleased. The light sensor makes it simple to set the lighting times. I had to change the mechanical timer regularly during the year as the day’s length changed. After 14 years of changing times all year long that alone was worth the purchase. I am pretty cheap and did not want to replace a working unit just for convenience, so I am glad the timer failed.

This unit replaced a 45 watt unit that I had been using previously. The old unit worked well but when I added more lights to the circuit I exceeded its capacity and the protection circuit kicked in and I had to remove the added lights or replace the transformer. Solution, I replaced the old transformer with this 200 watt unit. Problem solved.

We have a similar transformer in our home in the mountains, so I was confident. This was the style to buy. We have had it installed for about a month now, and it works seamlessly. The button to turn the lights off or shut the time that the lights go off it’s very easy to use and makes working very easy. If you are using LED outside lights, what time are the size is far more than you will ever need. It’s a good value and works well.

It work, but the company that sells it denied the return of the ones that we didn’t need.That causes problem. Amazon has always bee excellent on returns, that’s why I bought it through Amazon. My suggestion is, make sure you buy one, and use it, and if you need anther, order it again.
