Use zahler for years- only prenatal I trust
I’ve used zahler products for years. The ingredient list is truly vegan (glycerin is plant form, dha is algae) the folate is bio available in its purest, most easily digestible and absorbed form, vs. folic acid. The mini used to be smaller but VERY round, it was actually HARD to swallow it! I know for a fact the new slimmer squishier pills are SO much better and easier to swallow and still so much smaller than regular prenatals or any multi. This was a choice made by zahler in the last year and revamped its product. NOT COUNTERFEIT. I kept reading that in the reviews and thought that was so stupid. I just had to write my own review. I’ve been taking the mighty mini since August 2019 though now I’m 9mo post partum (baby and pregnancy was extremely healthy and now pregnant again and still on my mini pill never missed a month). I’ve taken both shaped pills and both were excellent. I just like this one even more! Not to mention that amazing mint tab that sits in the bottle! No after taste, no fish burps, no nausea. THIRD BABY AND WILL ONLY TRUST ZAHLER. Also do your research and listed to the pregnancy podcast. She has the scientists from zahler on the pod.

Best Ingredients and Amounts, Easy to Swallow
I am not exaggerating when I say I researched prenatal vitamins for a week and made a spreadsheet with every brand I could find. I wanted to make sure the prenatal vit I took had all the recommended ingredients and in the optimum form and amounts. A heads up, look for the active form of folic acid which is folate (not foclic acid), at least part of the vit A in beta carotene form (the other can lead to toxicity), and no calcium (may inhibit the absorption of iron which is a critical ingredient in a prenatal vit). There is such a thing as too much folate or too much vit A so watch out for that. In addition I was looking for an easy-to-swallow pill, one with a small serving size (not 3-4 pills a day), and no gelatin.Surprisingly, most brands are lacking in one way or another, even the most well known and expensive ones. The Zahler brand was practically the only brand that met all the criteria! The added plus is it includes DHA. I've been taking it for over 3 months and its the easiest pill to swallow with no smell. I highly recommend!!

Really good prenatal vitamins!
These new and improved Mighty Minis are so great! I don’t even get the fishy after taste or the fish burp after eating these. They are very light on my stomach so its really good to know I can take these with an empty stomach! I like how they come with the mint insert so you dont smell or taste the vitamin. It makes it really easy to swallow. This is probably the size of one tylenol pill, if not then a tad smaller so its just super knowing this is not a horse pill! Ive been taking these for 2 years and will continue to take them! Also, just want to point out in the subject when searching for this vitamin, it does come up as mighty mini but the description underneath it says information about cigarettes. Not sure if you want to fix that :)Update: They fixed their link labeling!and I attached a photo to show you the size of the bottle its about 4inches in height and im glad I can carry this in my purse

Easy-to-swallow prenatal
This is a great little prenatal. I'm not currently pregnant but trying to conceive, so I started by taking a chewable prenatal, as I have a hard time swallowing most pills, unless they're small. I couldn't deal with the taste of the chewables anymore, so I found these and decided to try them out. I wasn't sure how easy they'd be to swallow, as the size of the pill looked fairly large from the photos available, but I'm happy to say that they're easy for me to swallow. They're about the size of a ibuprofen gel cap, and don't stick in my throat at all, sliding right down. To me, the mint flavor isn't too noticeable; I find the mint smell is stronger than the taste. I'm hopeful that I'll be able to tolerate these just fine once I'm pregnant.

Much smaller than regular Zahler Prenatal DHA - but less nutrients
I was originally taking the regular 2x/day Zahler prenatal w/ DHA (per the suggestion of my doctor) but those went out of stock temporarily so I switched to these. This review is mostly a comparison to those (which I think are some of the best prenatals out there).Pros:This I only have to take once per day, and are much smaller than the original. If you have trouble swallowing large pills, these are probably a great option for you. In addition to being smaller, they are in a gel-type capsule which I think makes them easier to swallow than tablet pills than tend to be more likely to get stuck while trying to swallow. These are also much cheaper than the original.Like the original, the B vitamins in this are Methylated (including Folate), which is important if you have an MTHFR mutation.Cons:-These don't have all of the RDA of Iron or DHA, so you will likely want to take additional pills for those.Summary:- Smaller pills and only 1x/day but I think that is cancelled out by the fact that I now need to take Iron and DHA separately. I did the math and decided to take additional Iron supplement 2 days per week and DHA supplement 5 days per week. That combined with this pill means that the weekly amount I get from both averages out to be the DHA of both. That conveniently also means that I am still only taking two pills per day (one prenatal and one either DHA or Iron)
