The '5' is for the product, not its use since I haven't tried it in the water/ocean yet... I purchased the tinted version and it looks really good when applied to my arms & face. That said, a person of color may not like it and it would be nice if other tint colors were available. The pictures are just to help buyers realize the small size so they're not surprised once the product arrives.

This product was perfect to carry in my purse during a recent trip to a very sunny location. It's a bit difficult to apply because it is so small but good for sunscreen touch ups when you are on the go. I also appreciated that it was solid and therefore didn't take up precious space in my liquids bag on the airplane. It can leave a white cast when it dries so be sure to blend into your skin well. It seems to work well though no issues with burning. Definitely recommend!

Absolutely love the entire line of Stream2Sea, The Eco stick is so easy to apply rubs in without leaving a white haze and last for over an hour and a half. Both daughters have super sensitive skin and eczema, and this product never irritates their skin

I got this because of the recommendation of EWG, but I failed to notice that they are charging a whole lot of money for the smallest stick you can imagine. If you don't include the base, this thing is 2.5 inches tall. It is about 1/4 inch thick. It is perhaps 1.5 inches across. That is .5oz of product that I purchased for what would come to almost $30 an ounce. I made this mistake because I didn't read things carefully, and I hope you don't make the same mistake.

Product description missing key info: size/ weight. The $16 price along with photos lead the buyer to believe it is a full sized product/ sunscreen stick. It is not. It is so tiny. Whole thing fits in the middle of my palm. I really had to search on the product label for the size after I got it. It is only 0.5ounces. That's $32 per ounce! Have not used it yet. Even if the product was amazing, I am returning it due to size/ poor value. 6/13/24 Updating review from one to three stars as seller promptly offered a refund. Much appreciated

Extremely overpriced and misleading measurements given as actual sunscreen is tiny, sent it back.

I’m nots diver, so might not be the target customer. I bought this as a small, easy to travel with option. It ticks all those boxes and has kept me from getting burned but the texture is a bit chunky when applying it, which is uncomfortable, and it sits on top of your skin, making you look zombie-pale. So I’m not sure if I’d buy it again.
