They last way longer
I've used these dozens of times and the one I'm using still almost feels new. They last WAY longer than the 80 and 120 grits I used previously from other companies and this 40 grit really hogs material off. Surprisingly they don't get hot easy either with my blade work. I'd recommend it.

Good product, but the bent up packing was a big dislike. Sanding bets can not , shuold not folded up the way I got mine Must be better ways for some one to pack them but the product seems good . may last as long as all the others, so all in all, good value.

Mixed Feelings: My Experience with POTUINOM 15 Pack Sanding Belts
As someone deeply entrenched in the worlds of jewelry making, 3D design, wax carving, lost wax casting, sand casting, smelting, forging, and laser engraving — not to mention my role as a content creator and streamer in these niches — I rely heavily on quality tools that can keep up with the diverse and demanding nature of my work. I recently decided to give the POTUINOM 15 Pack Sanding Belts a try, drawn in by the variety of grits (80/120/150/240/400) and the promise of versatility across a wide range of materials and applications. Here's my honest take on these sanding belts after putting them to the test in various projects. On the positive side, the assortment of grits included in this pack is commendable. Having access to different levels of coarseness in one package is incredibly convenient and allows for a smooth transition between rough shaping and finer finishing touches. This range has been particularly useful in my sand casting and forging work, where precision and finish can greatly influence the final product's quality. The quantity and price point of the POTUINOM sanding belts offer good value, especially for a small business owner like myself who needs to keep operational costs in check. The initial quality of the belts seemed promising, and they fitted my 4 x 36-inch belt sander without any issue, which was a relief. However, my experiences with these belts have been mixed. While they perform adequately for lighter tasks, such as sanding down wax models or working on softer metals, their durability when tackling harder materials or more rigorous sanding tasks left something to be desired. I noticed a significant drop in performance and lifespan of the belts, particularly the lower grits, when used on tougher jobs, such as preparing metal for forging or heavy removal in sand casting processes.Another aspect that could be improved is the consistency in grit quality across the belts. While some belts seemed to maintain their grit and effectiveness over multiple uses, others wore down quite quickly, leading to uneven results and the need for more frequent replacements than I had anticipated. In conclusion, the POTUINOM 15 Pack Sanding Belts offer a reasonable solution for hobbyists or those with less demanding projects. The variety of grits and the quantity provided are definite pluses for anyone looking to have a versatile set on hand for occasional use. However, for professionals or those of us with more intensive sanding needs, particularly in the realms of metalworking or heavy-duty material removal, these belts might fall short of expectations. They serve as a reminder that while value is important, the ultimate measure of a tool's worth is its ability to perform consistently under the specific demands of our crafts.

Good quality fit and durability
Happy with this purchase. Proper fit with my stationary belt sander. Durable grit, at least with wood sanding.
