TimexMen's Expedition Scout Solar-Powered 40mm Watch

It was bought as a present and it is very good value for a solar watch nice display and solid strap would recommend every time

Took the time advertised to arrive. As with most other reviews, when it arrived the box was bashed up a bit. The plastic display unit was broken, but the watch itself was perfect.The second hand will double tick when on low charge, don't worry it's not broken (I searched online as I was worried lol). I put it under a lamp all night to give it a full charge and it's continously worked since then with no issues.I had a problem registering the device. I scanned the QR code and emailed Timex, they responded but I haven't had a resolution yet.Happy with the watch but would like it to be registered.

Good size and keeps good time with the light rechargeable battery.Date window too small with date difficult to make out.

A terrific bargain for £50. Comes from the USA and as others have said the packaging looked like someone had been playing football with it but fortunately the watch was unharmed. The gunmetal colour looks great with the black face. The strap is lighter that in the pictures so I’ve swapped it out for a black one and it looks mint.

It is not often I leave reviews on Amazon; however, I am so impressed by this watch I feel compelled to. I was not expecting much from this Timex, I have had other more expensive watches from the brand (in the £100-£200 range). And I have not been overly impressed by the quality of them. However, I paid £41 for this Expedition and for the added benefit of solar charging also that is incredible value. I have had much more expensive Swiss automatic watches in the past and this watch is making me re-evaluate what you really need in a watch. And this one really ticks all the boxes you need. An added benefit is the leather strap is also amazing quality for the money. I have had Hamilton automatics with significantly worse straps than this. Overall, I highly recommend.

Having waited for it to arrive, like many other reviewers, it turned up looking like it had been dragged behind the delivery van. All the packaging was trashed but the watch seemed ok.After charging in the sun I had less than a week of it working before the hands started moving at different speeds, the position of the hour hand not corresponding to the minute hand. Took it off to adjust, leaving the back of the watch on my wrist and the crown and movement parting company with the case.Should have paid more attention to the other reviews but at the price it seemed worth a shot.Chucked it in the bin.

Great watch for the money. Lightweight and stylish. It does have a loud tick so may be annoying if you have on your bedside table at night.

Handsome watch...but body a little too deep for comfort...something I overlooked..and occasionally stops for lack of light while being worn
