Ok so I just got them and a installed them immediately, before got dark, I took some pics before and after for you to compare, So far I love them.The only thing I don't like it's the coverage of the remote control, to me it doesn't seem like 65ft but I guess that's ok. The picture of the controller is the distance that mine apparently covers, only from there I can control it :(I bought one single laser and so far it covers the entire front of my house and some of the sides of (the 2 side) Neighboors. I put it above, close to the mailbox so lights didn't get lost on the bushes; One of the pics shows part of the garage is not covered because bush blocking light but that's just a small piece.

Worked well out of the box and the coverage was decent. I bought a second one to better cover the front of the house, as we sit about 100 ft from the street and it was a bit dim from there. This allowed me to bring the units closer to the house and thus made it much brighter. My neighbor even called and said her husband leaves for work early and he enjoys the show :-)...BUT, as with other reviewers, the red laser failed on the first unit after only about a week-very disappointing. The second one is working properly, but it's about 2 weeks newer, so we'll see. Also, as noted by others, the range of the remote is short, although the one that came with the second unit seemed to work better-maybe a battery issue? I returned the unit with the prepaid UPS label, opting for the gift card, and was impressed that within hours of dropping it off at UPS, my account had the gift card already activated. I used this to purchase a replacement unit, but the delivery "may be after Christmas" and as late as Jan 2, which doesn't do me much good, although delivery was pretty quick with the first one so will hope for the best. An "expedited" delivery was offered ( there is no Prime 2-day delivery for this ) at over $40 !!--passed on that... It would have been easier if Amazon just offered a replacement, but I didn't see that option. In any event, Amazon's legendary customer service proved terrific once again. I'm hoping that both units will continue to function properly, but with the numerous laser failures noted in the reviews, I am not overly optimistic, but time will tell.Will update in the near future.UPDATE: 1/02/2017 Ok, it didn't arrive by Christmas ( which they advised), but I did get it before new year's so at least I had it for NYE ! Unfortunately, and not really unexpectedly based on the reviews, the replacement for the replacement was also defective. Right out of the box it would not stay on for more than 6 hours. Since it stays dark 10-12 hours, not real useful... I tried resetting the remote ( several times), took the battery out of the remote, as well as unplugging it for a few hours, hoping that might do the ol' "unplug to reset the electronics thing", all to no avail. Soooo, sending this one back. Oddly, this time my return request was directed to the manufacturer vs. via Amazon, per se, and if approved, the manufacturer will email me a return label...Can't wait to see how that turns out, although the first return/review apparently was seen by the manufacturer, and they posted a response to my review offering to help in any way, yada yada yada. . Will update as the sage of the impishly defective laser lights progress!UPDATED UPDATE: 1/13/2017 Excellent customer service, but the light issue is still a puzzle...Manufacturer replied very promptly to my complaint. They stated that since the device is (supposedly) designed to only stay on 6 hrs, it wasn't defective. So apparently the one that stays on all the time is the defective one. HUH??...In any event, they did refund my money as promised and told me NOT to return either one, as " the warehouse is full" and that the return time would be lengthy. So I guess my advice would be, if you want one of these gizmos, and you want it to stay on all night, you have to hope to get a "defective" one, otherwise it will shut off after 6 hours. Of course, that's IF the laser works at all, unlike the first one I returned. Good grief, I just wanted a SIMPLE Christmas decoration...with all the time I spent on this I coulda built my own laser...think I'll just hang a wreath next year...

I love the product but I can see where other people would be critical thus I gave it 4 stars. I'm using it indoors and purchased a second one for the other side of the cathedral ceiling. Be warned that I have no idea what it would look like outdoors. The REMOTE DOESN'T WORK. I put it on a timer and thankfully the speed that the lights change is fine with me (since I have no way to control it). The pictures attached show it with green, red then the combo which is how the settings change. We can still see the lights when the room lights and TV are on. I don't really decorate, just a "Pop-Up" tree and wrapped boxes so this really spruces up the room and makes it very festive. An inexpensive way to make a big impression.Actually put new batteries in the remote but it still doesn't work well.

Nice Laser light. It's bright and the different patterns really shine even if it's not fully dark outside. Build is sturdy and you have the option of either mounting it or staking it into the ground. I like this Christmas Laser Lights a lot, reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because the 2017 model does not come with a remote, it just cycles through all the different patterns. I looked at a lot of these on Amazon and elsewhere. This one seemed to have it all. Cold (zero), rain, and snow have not bothered it, works fine with a timer, and I think the moving pattern looks great.Lots of very bright spots and covers the whole front of our 2-story house with ease. Also reaches through the front door glass, up the stairs, and onto the back wall of the rear bathroom.As others have noted the remote has to be aimed directly at it and within 15 ft or so in my experience. Not a big deal unless one wants to change the setting often from afar.

Nice lights! They look great on the house and it's a whole lot easier than hanging lights. They show green lights for a bit, then red and green, then just red, and so on.They appear to have some kind of inner timer. Looks to be maybe 8 hours on, 16 off. I leave them on overnight, and they're off when I wake up.I appreciate that they included a stake and a flat mount.

I bought 2. It covered entire front of my 2 story home, both right and left sides, not just the center. 1 light IS NOT going to be enough if you plan to give your home a bright full coverage - the further u move the light from the house, the dimmer the light will be.Cons -No instructions on setup1 of the Ground stakes broke while I was adjusting it on the lawnOn The other light The red laser stopped workingProsRemote has different options with color, speed, designsGood enough to act as an "accent lighting"If ur planning to use this as ur main Xmas lighting - it will not be bright enough.
