Works Great with a Brush
Since I went to using a shaving brush about 10 years ago I've tried numerous shaving soaps and creams, everything from locally handmade soap to national brands. In general I prefer creams to soaps, as I feel I get a better shave with fewer problems with a good shave cream. Proraso , C.O. Bigelow , Omega , Musgo Real , and Old Spice just to name a few. Yes, I know the first three are basically the same one under a different label. I was intrigued by the reviews for this Cremo Shaving Cream so I tried it. I'm glad I did! The consistency of this cream is similar to those I mentioned in the first paragraph. And as a clean fresh citrusy scent that doesn't linger, which is exactly what I want in the shave cream. After reading the Q&A about this cream here on Amazon I discovered it could be applied with a brush, in addition to the preferred method, rubbing it directly on your face with your hands. I put a small dollop of the cream in my shaving bowl and worked it into my badger brush with a small amount of water. Using this method, the brush applies a thin layer of shave cream. This is more than enough to provide a clean smooth shave. Not only does it provide a smooth shave, it doesn't clog the razor like the other brands can and rinses cleaner than any of the aforementioned brands. When combined with the Fusion ProGlide PowerRazor the result is a nearly perfect shave. No White Residue I have black ceramic shaving bowl. One gripe I have about all the previously mentioned shave creams, plus a few others I've tried, is that they all leave a white residue behind on the razor and on the bowl. If I go more than a couple of shaves without cleaning that residue off the bowl I find I need a Scotch-Brite pad to remove it. This shave cream leaves no residue. While this doesn't make or break the deal, it's one more advantage of this brand of shave cream. Almost Too Slick This cream is so slick that if you have any on your hands or if anything dribbles down the handle of the razor while shaving it will make the handle so slippery that you may have difficulty controlling it. Just make sure you wipe down the handle and your hands before you start to shave. The Bottom Line The tagline on the tube says "Astonishingly Superior." I don't know as I would go that far, but this is a really nice shave cream. I get a decent lather with my shaving brush, a smooth shave, and no white residue shaving bowl. This one's a keeper!

🤩 Cremo Sensitive Shave Cream: Ultra-Slick, Amazing Value with a Brush!
This Cremo shave cream is a solid product. It uses a low-lather formula that feels incredibly ultra-slick, letting the blade glide easily over the skin. I really appreciate how smooth it makes the shaving feel. My trick is to put just a few drops in my shaving vessel and lather it up with my brush. Doing it this way makes the tube last much longer because you use so little product. If you already use a brush and want a super slick cream that delivers a smooth shave, this is worth checking out.

Excellent!!
Gives Art of Shaving a run for their money!! (For reference, I’m a woman, and I shave my entire body.) My bf introduced me to Art of $$$having, which was a huge upgrade from soap, all the grocery store “women’s” shave creams I’ve tried, or the Gillette foam in a can that my dad uses. But I found their preshave oil to be far too thick for me, and I couldn’t help but use way too much. I find their shaving cream to be excellent, however, so I used it for at least 2-3 years. But they are extremely expensive, so I continuously looked for an alternative. I found Cremo at T🎯, and I bought the women’s lavender. But I found it to be lacking a bit. I called Cremo and told them I was an avid AoS user, had tried their product and wanted to continue using it, but found that it was still insufficient on its own because I still needed to use mineral/baby oil first. Cremo said you don’t need preshave oil because it’s incorporated into their formula. So I went back to AoS because I was being petulant about that response. 🤔😂 I could’ve simply continued to apply mineral oil first since that’s what I was doing with AoS first anyway! After a while, I saw the sensitive formula of Cremo and tried it. I’ve never looked back!! Yes, AoS is great, but Cremo is actually better for me! I don’t know if their lavender scent and sensitive formulations have different “slickening” ingredients, but whatever it is, their sensitive formula works amazingly well for me!! A lot of men have posted reviews seeming to rave or complain about how many shaves they get from one tube of Cremo. But when you’re coming from years of paying AoS prices, that kind of talk is laughable. You don’t have to do any math to know Cremo is much more economical than AoS. That said, my bf still uses AoS, but he also makes 3x my income. If you used AoS and are looking for a more budget - friendly alternative, look no further .than this brand! While Cremo refuses to produce shaving oil, if you feel you still need that, I have found that mineral oil, aka baby oil, works very well for me. But I had also always found AoS shave oil to be too thick anyway. I will likely never go back to AoS products because I don't appreciate being asked to pay an exorbitant price for toiletries made by P&G. I do not see them as a luxury brand. I find that with mineral oil and Cremo shave cream in any scent, but especially in the sensitive skin version, my skin comes out cleanly shaven, comfortable, and I get no or very few nicks.

Interesting Product
I have been using a safety razor and shaving soap applied with a brush. I decided to try this product to see if it was better than shaving soap. I found it to be an interesting alternative. I can shave a little quicker and it provides a very slick surface for shaving. However, it does not leave my face feeling as good and I do not like the lack of lather. It works, but it is not the greatest thing since sliced bread...4 stars. The product generally works as advertised. It is a cream that you can apply with your hands or with a brush. It gives a slight white lather when first applied. It fades rather quickly to a clear coating. However, it still works even if you cannot see it well. Simply rubbing your face with wet hands will relather the product if you want. I found no real advantage to the product by applying it with a brush. The brush helps condition my beard, but it did not really make the product better or worse. When applying with a brush, there is no need to whisk it in a shaving mug for very long. Apply it to your wet face with wet fingers, then brush in with a damp brush. Or just a brisk rub onto your wet face with wet fingers. It does provide a very slick shaving condition. Sort of like shaving with slippery lube I guess. The product sticks well to your face, so after a stroke with the razor, you can go back over the same area a few times and still have a nice surface. You can even apply a little water to your face to relather an area that you just shaved. This can allow you to finish your shave quicker than other methods. The resilience of the product staying on my face was actually a little bit of a negative to me. After shaving, I had to really work to wash it off before applying some aftershave cream. If I did not wash my face really well, it seemed to react a little with the aftershave and provide a "sticky" feeling on my face. Sort of like I left some soap on my face. I use Proraso Liquid Cream After-Shave (3.4 oz.) so perhaps something else would not react the same way. However, I still did not like the feeling it left on my face unless I really rinsed it off. I did get a nice shave from the product. It was true that I felt better shaving against the grain of my beard. This was especially true on my neck. I probably cut myself less using this product than with a traditional shave soap. However, it is not a miracle product that eliminates cuts and shaving bumps. If you try to shave too quickly you will still cut yourself. I found that the slickness of the product had me taking longer strokes and trying to shave quicker and this led to some careless (small) cuts. Shaving against the grain was still uncomfortable and left my neck feeling razor burned. Probably less than with some other products, but I still had the need to put an aftershave cream on. I also tried mixing the product with some shaving soap. It did not seem to do much. The best thing was to apply it first to your skin, and then apply shaving soap over it. I do not think it really did a lot except you could easily see where you had shaved. I think it is a good product, but it takes getting use to. Be sure to give it a few weeks of shaving before deciding.

A 5 Star Review but a DIRE WARNING. DIRE.
Gents, for me, lotion-style shaving cream is pretty hit or miss when it comes to getting a close, comfortable shave. However, I used the cooling Crema cream to shave my face, and it indeed is very slick and gives a very close shave. The cooling action is probably the strongest I've experienced, but it's not uncomfortable. On those mornings where you don't want to get out of bed, it will definitely put a much needed perk in your step. It smells great, too. Not overbearing, just a light scent. Five stars when used on your face. Now for the DIRE WARNING about where you use it: I take pride in keeping myself well-groomed head to toes. It's 2024, and I know I'm not alone. So, let's be honest: No one likes a hairy egg. Imagine reaching into a carton of eggs and finding a hairy one. You'd be like, "This is not acceptable. I'm filing a class action lawsuit and alerting the FDA." Same goes for the people who experience you in your birthday suit. Just ask them, "Would you prefer silky smooth, non-hairy eggs or do you like kiwi fruit/rambutans (look them up)?" The vast, vast majority of answers will be beautifully smooth, shiny eggs. Anyway, I would advise you strongly not to use this on any eggs. Too spicy for eggs. And don't be lulled into a false sense of security because you tried putting it on eggs but don't feel alarmed right away. Before you know it, you'll be doing interpretive dance, crying and laughing at the same time, trying to figure out a way to extinguish the cooling fire. But, you, like me, will discover that, like your mouth when eating really spicy food, nothing helps but the excruciating passage of time. Water, ice, milk, tortilla chips--Nope. Now, I know that some people can eat really spicy food without blinking an eye, and I know some of you will ignore me or try it just for fun. If you live, I promise that you and the people around you will end up astonished at how smooth eggs can be. You'll no longer use the analogy, "Smooth as a baby's butt." You will say, "Smooth as a freshly shaved pair of ............ eggs." One more thing. I don't have direct experience because experimenting with eggs was more than enough, but it still probably goes without saying that you should, at all costs, avoid putting this stuff on the business end of sausages, pickles, mushrooms, twinkies, Geoducks, etc. And, bless your heart if you try, but please have a fire extinguisher or 911 on the line if you dare apply it around the outside of a pineapple ring, doughnut, or bagel. To reiterate, this cream is amazing. From the neck up. 5 stars.

Great alternative to using my husbands shaving cream
I started using this instead of borrowing my husband’s shaving cream and I’m never going back. It gives a close shave, doesn’t irritate my sensitive skin, and doesn’t clog the razor. A little goes a long way and it leaves my skin feeling soft and comfortable

Morning Luxury
I am a fan of shave creams that come in a tube or shave soaps that you apply with a brush; the old-school foam from a can just doesn't do it for me. I find these tube-based shave products to be much better in terms of shaving closeness, moisturizing, and comfort. Which brings me to Cremo. This is the second time I've tried this brand, and I am impressed. I feel like the cream goes on smoothly, the razor glides over my face, and the result is a close shave while my skin is moisturized. The best part is that while some of the boutique brands of shave cream can be fairly expensive, Cremo delivers a premium product at a very fair price. This particular tube is the Silver Water and Birch scent. While I have no idea what Silver Water is, I can tell you that the scent is fresh, clean, and not at all overpowering. Honestly, this is now one of my favorites. Do I recommend it? Absolutely. Will I buy it again? Definitely.

Nice fresh mint but not enough coverage
I realize now it’s a cream and not a foam so it doesn’t lather up if that makes sense. I do find it nice and refreshing, although my teenage son gave me his because he felt it was too cold on his face. Ha. It’s a nice minty fresh feeling. I just feel like it doesn’t really attach to my skin to provide a protective barrier of sorts -like other shaving gels or cream creams have. Wouldn’t buy it again.
