Does this have a set screw underneath the spout?

I just installed a 3800 and it is threaded inside, I believe the 3801 slips on with a set screw to hold it on.

Is the 1/2 inch npt or isp?

Your question indicates you think the 3801 spout is meant to be used with iron pipe using NPT or IPS threading, it's not. The 3801 is a CC Slip Fit spout that's to be slid onto a 1/2" copper tube lookout that's 1-1/2" min. to 3" max. long, per the downloadable User Manual, there are NO threads involved. The 3801 slides onto the copper tube and is secured at the base with a set screw.

I see it says chrome "finish", but Is this made of metal or plastic?
