Works For A Novice
I can't be mad. This dress form was insanely easy to assemble and is very light weight. It has a ton of knobs for adjusting, including torso lengthening. That being said the body material is pretty thin, so you're going to have some issues pinning unless you go in at an angle. The base is also all plastic, so be careful you don't damage them because it will not stand with only three legs. The knobs feel very sturdy and they lock in. You have to pinch the button to make them turn.I down graded maneuverability because the rod for the base does not snap into the body. So if you want to move it, you have to take it apart or try and balance it on the pole as you lift.I was able to grab this on sale, and I am content with the price I paid for the quality of the item.

Works well enough
Good delivery time and ok price (a bit on the over-priced side). It was easy to assemble and other reviews note the feet aren’t enough to brace the frame but I don’t find this to be an issue. It can be a little wobbly but that is from it’s top heavy and bulky structure sitting on a small pole (unavoidable in my opinion). Again, not too much of a defect. The adjustments are sticky and tricky to adjust accordingly. This makes it difficult to get measurements spot on...one of the primary reasons I upgraded to this model opposed to just getting a standard frame. I’m finding the biggest flaw is the body itself. It’s made of a semi padded, thick felt and is very difficult to slide garments on and off. My projects get “hung up” on the felt fabric and I have to spend an annoying amount of time re-positioning it to sit on the mannequin correctly to get a proper fitting. I’m trying to figure a way to smooth it out somehow....any suggestions?Bottom line is that it works well enough. It takes some getting used to and manipulating, but it works fine(not great, but good enough for what I need). I don’t LOVE it, but don’t regret buying it either.

Very nice dressform! Very good value!!
I have had 2 dressforms that broke. This is a real beauty!! Half the price I paid for the other 2 cheapos. KoAnn fabrics waay too expensive. I chose this one. I'm a professional Couturist/ Costume Designer.. This is true to size, can pin patterns to it. Only wish it had wheels on legs. Hard to move it.

Seamstress body mannequin
I love it and it is very helpful in fitting costumes for a dance school.BUT, I have only had this one for 4 months and the center pole that slides onto the stand has broke. Not happy for $200 plus dollars.

My First Dress Form
This is my first dress form, therefore making a comparison to another one is not possible. However, I really like it so far. I've wanted one for a while and this one received the most positive number of reviews. I assembled it by myself, no issues, and set the measurements to my specific measurements, including the height. The height was the most challenging. My suggestion is to not rely on the dials for accuracy. Once you have set the dials, check it against your own measurement to ensure accuracy and adjust as needed. Looking forward to using it to make quite a few sewing projects. :-)

Confusing at first but worth it
I love the exchanges of the different areas. It took a while to figure out how to use the product as it doesn't come with directions. So a heads up, the knobs has an inner button, push it and turn it left or right. When you release the button it locks the size in place. The pushpins has to be pinched in, which I thought was odd. I usually prefer just to push it through for easier removal. This product though, it gives you extra work to do with the way you have to place them on it. I do love the adjusting of the height. Hips. Shoulders. Neck. Buttocks etc. Although the buttocks area isn't realistic and the hips doesn't spread enough in my opinion. A bit expensive but thus far, has been worth the investment.

Why is this the most difficult thing
It looked like it'd be so easy to put together and to make the adjustments. However, it isn't. It's very difficult to put together. The height bar to be exact. Once in place adjusting is practically not an option. The body dials are slightly off by measurments but I was able to just measure myself and adjust to match. The form itself is beautiful. The fabric texture is nice and the color looks great. It does feel very strong while also very wobbly at the same time (the form, not the stand, the stand is honestly too strong) It's very easy to pick up and move around too. I just think adjusting te shape is gonna take extra tools and because of that I don't think I'd spend the money on it.
