Bought this for the Harry Potter fan in our house. Even though this story is not part of the Harry Potter series and doesn't feature any of the original characters, It was a big hit. It is recommended for any Potter fan who is interested in the new fantastical stand-alone series with vague references to Hogwarts. This book is an interesting collection of tidbits on the newest movie with additional info on the Potter Series.

I liked this book. A basic beginning look into fandom of Rowling's worlds. Wish it went into more detail, but a good read anyways.

I bought this in anticipation of the film (which I still haven't gotten round to seeing yet). This has been produced to give some more detailed background information on the characters of Fantastic Beasts, but it also revisits the Harry Potter films. For anyone who loves Rowlings magical world, this special magazine is probably a must-have. With the release of the film, there are plenty of similar products to choose from - for instance, there is also a hardback book which looks at the characters, behind the scenes etc. - so, priced at just under £10, is this value for money? Well, I suppose if you are a fan, you won't mind too much parting with your money, but for me this is the reason that I only awarded 4 stars. "The Case of Beasts" which is a hardback, would certainly make better value for money, especially for those really wanting a closer examination of the Fantastic Beasts story.
