Omg! amazing lager!
This is the best lager I've ever experienced. I've lived in Germany and this is nice than anything I've ever had. I guess it must be the slow brewing and lack of pasteurisation. I found the keg lasted for a weekend without degrading quality. Honestly, this is as good as lager gets. Treat yourself.

Did not work
Top valve stuck fast so couldn’t use in my machine so tried to use tap on the side to get the lager out but it only released 200ml then stopped working. Hadn’t tried to use until 3 weeks after delivery so return was refused

Flat beer
I ordered the same keg from Hofmeister which was fine but this one had no life and was flat

Decent lager, decent company
Full disclosure - I previously reviewed this as 2 stars, due to an out of date delivery. However, Hofmeister sent a replacement keg and made it right, so I thought it only fair to update my review.This is a nice lager, quite easy drinking. It's not the same style as the minimal head lager usually served in the UK, so some may find it a little lively for their taste. If you like a decent serving of foam on the top however then this is worth a try. The first pint came out as a milk pour, and over the next couple of pints it progressed through a 50/50 to more of a 75/25, where it remained for the rest of the keg. I personally enjoyed how the different foam ratios brought out some different flavours.1* off for the initial issues, but the company made it right, and that has to count for something too.
