I purchased this after purchasing a similar one for my wife’s hero 2018. The camera fits nicely into the case without any movement. I have tested it in a swimming pool, which isn’t very deep, but there were no leaks so far. I like the design of double locking mechanism to keep the door closed. I also like the function of the top and side accessory rails. My primary reason for buying this case was the protect the camera while off Roading. I mount the camera externally on the vehicle and need to protect the screens from rocks and debris. Overall, build quality seems very good.

I don’t know what all the different color plates are for but the fisheye lens works great! Keeps my hero9 dry on scuba dives up to 60’ so far. Will update if it begins failing as I get deeper; deep diver certification begins next month

The only dive it leaked a bit on was when I had a LED light system attached to one of the cold shoe mounting points on the side of the case. This probably gave it a bit more mechanical stress and allowed a few drops to get in. But- the GoPro is waterproof- so, it didn’t cause any issue. Overall- the case worked fine. The fit was perfect, easy to open and seal, and the buttons easy to press. The colored filters did their job- but sure, they’re not glass- just cheap plastic. But- the color seemed about right. The “macro” lens- looks really nice- but didn’t seem to work at all under water. Perhaps the index of refraction of the plastic lens was too close to that of water- and it really didn’t provide much, if any magnification nor close focussing that I could tell. Do not expect the macro lens to work. At all. The colored lenses did fit snugly, and perfectly over the case (prior reviews here expressed an issue). And I was able to tie them on with the little strings provided and change them underwater. Although they dangled and sometimes got in front of the lens. Now I understand the purpose of the more expensive flip system. Best to just put on one red lens and use it without changing.

I use it for a dive, i was so dissapointed , becouse all my videos ruined , becouse of fog, i wear it over my head i did not see it during the dive 😐
