Great product.
I love this stuff. Adds umami to so many kinds of meat, fish and veg. I should say though that it took five days to get it, one was damaged and I had to get a refund because it was no longer safe to eat.

LOVE this miso!
I have recently started preparing miso soup to reap the health benefits of the combined ingredients. I live in an area where miso isn't readily available, so I turned to Amazon.I was surprised when I was contacted by the company before the product even arrived, checking with me to ensure that I was having a satisfactory experience and keeping me updated on the shipment status. When the product arrived, one of the containers (it was a two-pack) had been compromised, and the seller immediately refunded half of the money. Excellent customer service! The texture was exactly as I expected, based on other miso that I've tried, but the taste was amazing - rich, full-bodied and intense! I have used it to add flavor to many other dishes, making it a very versatile condiment. Highly recommended!

As easy as making instant coffee. A little bit on the salty side.
Very easy to use. Just add the corresponding amount of hot water to the paste to make miso without worrying about the soup stock, dashi. Tends toward the salty side, at the expense of overpowering the miso taste. Very convenient and easy way to make miso soup during cold weather.

Tangy, tasty and give my ramen dishes great flavor
Been using this product for quite a while and it comes in handy when flavoring my rice or ramen diges. Used a time ot two for pork chops and chicken breast recipes. Came sealed and so worth the money.

More robust than white miso, delicious, easy!
This miso is amazing! It's a bit more robust than white miso too (I love them both)! These last absolutely forever in the fridge... It is fermented though, so I'm not entirely sure it could go bad! Ha! Anyway, if you like miso in your local Japanese restaurant, then you will love this! I usual just heat water in my water boiler, and stir it in as a broth. Sometimes I add a bit of olive oil and spices (think garlic, basil, oregano...) if I'm feeling a bit more like Italian, and it works wonderfully!

Use Red Miso A lot? The Two-Pack is Great Value!
The consistency and flavor of this miso paste is excellent and I like it better than the white miso paste for my sweet potatoes I slice length-wise, coat with miso paste and bake. Miso keeps a long time but if you you don't use much, give one to a friend or daughter!
