MagpulHunter 700L Remington 700 Long Action Stock, Black

I got the hunter stock, the mag well and 2 magazines. The 700 30-06 action dropped in and bolted down super easily. The Hunter stock adds a bit of weight (my OG stock was the Remington synthetic) but nothing that I’m not already used to. The mag well and the mags are perfect. I would only encourage this stock as a consideration for upgrading.

All the reviews, write ups, and YouTube vids were correct, as far as ease of install, proper fit up, durability of make, and being entirely modular and adjustable to fit the shooter. I have already made reccomend actions to close friends that own Remington 700 models to upgrade to this Hunter 700 stock

This is a great product with a solid bedding block, comfortable buttpad, and quality overall feel. However, be sure to buy replacement action screws (there are two) if you are converting from an ADL. I did thorough research and bought stainless, hex drive BDL screws from Midway before ordering this stock, which work perfectly, but if you do not read the fine print/forum posts, you could easily overlook this step.The only nitpick I have with this stock is that you have to remove the cheek riser to remove the bolt. I knew that when I bought it, but it's still a little annoying.

This definitely sets off the look of your rifle if you are looking to build up or modify go this route! Really a major improvement!

I had to reorder and get a short action, accidentally hit that buy now button. However, the quality of the stock convinced me to go ahead and order the short action version.

Item arrived in time. However, my Remington 700 action didn't fit 100% into the stock. Had to carve out a tiny bit to make it fit. Not super happy but I can't return it either...
