Great little security bar
My apartment complex recently came in and replaced everyone's sliding glass doors...(with much nicerones, I have to say), but when they ripped out the old one, they ripped out the drop down security barthat was attached to it. I didn't want a new one that needed to be installed by have to drill holes forscrews and things, so while I was looking, I came upon this little beauty. It's PERFECT!!! It is adjustable to be able to fit various sizes of sliding glass doors, and all I have to do is pop it in, and pop it out. EASY, SAFE,and TOTALLY FUNCTIONAL. Nobody is getting in my sliding glass door with this bar in place. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, if you're like me, and don't want to have to do any drilling in your door.

Works great!
I worried about so many negative reviews, but decided to try anyway. Works great for me. Easily adjustable, easy on/off. Quite sturdy. Does exactly what I need and very pleased with purchase.

Works great
When I was young, my friends and family that had sliding glass doors, typically used a piece of wood, lol, but this is great. It took me a minute to figure out how to adjust it, but well worth the funds

Made of plastic but I guess it works

Easier than a broomstick
We have a sliding glass door from our basement to our back yard. A friend reminded us that sliders like ours are fairly vulnerable to someone ill-intentioned. She said she simply used a broomstick to barricade a sliding door like ours. I poked around, and I liked the soft tips on this bar (I doubt they're rubber). It's dead easy to install, once you figure out how to adjust the length by twisting the smaller diameter tube.It certainly does prevent the door from being opened.
