This product claims to throw 3800 lumens, but the beam was so widespread or over-rated that I have a flashlight that is only 500 lumens that throws a further beam. The other flashlight uses one 18650 and this uses two, so it really ought to do better. I bought it with just one review listed, so perhaps I should have known better. Nice light output, switch works great. Problem began when I stowed it in my dive bag & headed home... 2 days later when u unpacked everything I was horrified to find a thick white corrosive deposit on every part of the exterior that had touched moisture. As I attempted to wipe it off, chunks of the aluminum body came off in my hands, in some places down to half the thickness of the casing! This is no dive light, but an ordinary Chinese led flashlight with a few o-rings to seal it. Going back right away...

I cannot tell you how bright it is, or how well it performed cause it never once turned on. I got it, put in new batteries that I just bought and it did not turn on at all. I tried batteries that was on my other flashlight and it still did not work. I am using the batteries ( that did not come with it ) but is recommended to be used on it.

The slide switch does not lock or click. Almost impossible to carry with batteries in, dive bag without light coming on and killing the batteries.

DO NOT BUY THIS LIGHT! It drains batteries even if the light is off. Tested this several times with different batteries and never stayed charged over night.

I bought three of these for a research trip studying coral in the USVI.pros #1: decent price.prose #2: very bright light.cons #1: not actually water proof! Water leaked in around the bulbs (not battery case) when I tested these at our springs (20 feet deep)...luckily it was freshwater.cons #2: the dimmer switch never turns completely off. All three of the flashlights drained the batteries when "off"...one completely drained the batteries within a few hours, one lasted about ten hours, and the final one lasted about 24 hours.This is not a good choice if you plan to use this light under water, and unless you plan to remove the batteries every time you want to turn the light off (not exactly practical when you plan to use the light in the water),
