I have been using the same handle for 4 years -- since day one I have been having trouble with the cartridge pulling off unless I held my finger on it -- recently it stopped holding the cartridge all together -- I like the blades so much that I thought I would try a new one -- the cartridges lock much better into this handle than they ever did into my old handle -- I bought this set so I could try out both the 4 and and 6 blade cartridges -- I have been lazy the past couple of weeks and only shaving once a week -- I wanted to try the "all-terrain" 4 blade cartridge for comparison with a weeks worth of growth -- the header on the product description page, if read quickly, could be misleading (3count) -- you only get 1 of each cartridge and a handle not a 3 count of cartridges -- I've tried a lot of different ways of shaving in my 74 years and so far this system has been the best -- the blades do not pull hair, irritate the skin or dull quickly -- I believe the secret sauce is that the blades don't stick out as far as most others -- any burning I get afterwards is from whatever soap or cream that I use -- lately I have been using Coconut Oil (message oil) and I don't get any burning at all and do not need aftershave or heavy rinsing -- no need to wash you face afterwards either -- as long as these DSC items stay the same I will stick with them -- in my opinion no need to change what works perfectly

I’ve been using this razor for a few months and it gives a really close, smooth shave—no nicks or irritation—and it’s way cheaper than big brands. The six stainless-steel blades and grippy handle work great, and the blade refills are easy to get at stores. Happy with the quality and savings!

The 4-blade is better than the 6-blade.

I decided to give these a try as a means to ensure I wasn't missing out on a good deal or product. I started with the four-blade and for the first time in decades, I ended up with some nicks. I tried that configuration only two more times to ensure it wasn't just a fluke. I switched to the six-blade which was much better in terms of nicks but still felt like I was sanding my face more than shaving it. I have given up and moved on to another product. I do not have thick hair or a lot of it so I can generally get away with shaving up instead of down. No configuration in this setup allowed me to shave up. Your mileage may vary depending on your specific face but for mine, it did not work well. I do give it props for style and being sturdy.

I finally ran out of my refills from before the rebrand. Does not work well and not compatible with original handle. They seem dull on first use. Plus had to buy a whole new razor handle. Dumb. Once ive used the flimsy ones I'll be switching to a different brand.
