Happy with it!
We put it in already and my husband is out with the boys in it right now. We bought gray with blue lines. It looks really sharp and so much easier to clean than the carpet that covered the floor before. I asked him if he still loves it while he was out in the boat on a phone call and he said/ love it! Easy on their feet too. Sticks well to the bottom- we had read some reviews that said the corners were peeling up, but we have not found that. We chose to turn the last piece horizontal, and we trimmed to use the blue edge as the joining piece- I don’t know if you can tell in the picture or not how he joined them. This was a picture after we all had our dirty shoes on in the boat because there were tools in things everywhere. It was late when we finished it so we did not try to clean it yet because they’re out using it this morning early.

Great Product
Initial impression is that I am really happy with this product. As you might expect, it's a bargain compared to a professional installation. Admittedly, the custom jobs are going to be nicer but in my case it wasn't worth paying 6x the price for something I wanted to try anyway. The color and texture has been very consistent over several purchases so there have been no issues matching sections. Ignore the water spots in the first two pictures. The foam cuts easily either with a utility knife or a pair of scissors. Application is easy and the adhesive is very sticky. Once applied is is very comfortable to walk on and makes a big difference in the comfort of your deck, particularly if you are barefoot. Some suggestions for applying: Let the sheet age and relax for a few days prior to using preferably in the sun where it can get hot. The foam will shrink a very small amount so you want that shrink out before you cut and apply. Also, a roller is a must. It was obvious that even after pressing and walking on it, rolling the foam still found areas that did not have good adhesion. Last thing to mention is more of a personal preference. I would suggest making templates and cutting sections as opposed to trying to cut this in place. It's a little more work but you will be happier with the final result. You can find examples on-line. Update: two full seasons and this looks as the good as the day I put it down. We’re in dry storage so it’s not in the sun all day, every day but it’s had two summers of use. Only issue was the adhesive started to dry out in a few places but it’s easy to fix with contact cement you can get at a big box store. I’d recommend waiting to do that until it’s needed since to do the entire job that way can be messy and unforgiving once it sets.

Does not get hot!
We purchased this to replace the worn out carpeting in our boat. This has such a nice feel while walking on it and it does not get hot. We live in Arizona and things get hot quickly in the sun. It’s so nice not to burn your feet. Take your time putting this together and it turns out very nice. I can’t speak to the durability yet as we just installed it. We have one trip to the lake so far with eight people on our boat, it seems to have held up for that one trip. I will update as time goes on. I can speak to the stickiness of the adhesive, I cleaned my sub decking to make sure it was dust, free and ready for install. I find there are several areas that are starting to peel, I’m going to remedy this by putting carpet glue down. 8-8-23 update We still enjoy this flooring. Things to note: The floor has shrunk slightly and has revealed some of the sub flooring, not a big deal but one to note. The adhesive backing is not very strong, I recommend putting down outdoor carpet glue, it helps to hold this down well. The floor stains very easily, make sure to clean with soapy water right after use or you will have different colored spots from water, dirt and spilled drinks etc. Still is cool to the touch and easy to Walk on, even while being out in the sun on 118 degree days.

Took my time and made it look sexy AF
Ordered 4 rolls for my tiny compac 16. Took my time with making the templates perfect and it paid off. Instantly add the most beautiful lines on the boat and has been a huge hit in my sailing community. Plus my wife like to sit on the bow and the foam feels amazing. Be careful of the glue tach on the back. It is extremely sticky if you mess up you mess up big time so take your time measure twice cut once and always use a sharp razor blade to cut the material just in the four pieces I used seven razor blades to get the real fine cuts. I've had all my sailboat for almost a month. Well that doesn't sound a lot but I have sailed 26 of those 30 days mostly on night cruises in My back Bay. This thing has seen crazy abuse with salt water twisting kneeling rubbing it hasn't lost any thing and glue is still strong. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about this product and would recommend it to everyone and do. My only concern is the only way to scrape up a mistake or let's say an entire patch is to use massive amounts of acetone and a scraper this stuff is stuck for life lol which you can't fault them for that it also adds Superior grip protection I mistakenly put a semi-gloss code on the top deck and made everything slick as hell but ended up being the perfect Bond to make on the glue. Do not Waste your Money
Installed product as pontoon boat flooring. Went in ok, made it perfect so no seems visible, walked around on it for days and days as it sat all winter in Florida uncovered thru changing temps and rain. Flooring looked great, then came the real life test and that’s when everything went downhill. We have a rule, NO SHOES ON BOAT only rubber water shoes or bare feet. After only 2 months of walking on the floor the product shrank and it is starting to come up in spots. Not only that but just about the entire boat has foot marks that will not come out. Seams that were not visible now can be seen on the entire boat due to shrinkage. The entire floor prior to install was sanded and then scuffed to make sure product stick, even after putting double sided carpet tape on 2 areas it is still not looking correct. To make matters worse a friend left a water bottle on the floor in the sun for about 2 hours, the sun hit the bottle and literally melted the floor. Would not buy again and not only that I am basically out $850 as I am going to need to replace the flooring in 12 months or less all over again. Not to mention the labor it took to take all the seats out. Now months later the inner strips are all cracked and separated from the foam. Foam is not foam anymore after sitting for a few months, I would have been better off painting.

Better than expected.
This product turned out better than we had expected and we expected it to be great...it acfally turned out to be fantastic! We put this flooring in the main salon of our boat after removing the carpet. We did use indoor/outdoor carpet adhesive just in case the adhesive already on the flooring was not quite enough. It was easy to cut and apply. It is very, very important to make templates before cutting the flooring and to not be in a rush to finish the project. Do not skip this step. We have yet to add the separate trim (different company and product material) we purchased to trim the floor hatches and adjoining areas. We expect the flooring to last longer than suggested due to putting indoor outdoor area rugs on top of our new flooring. We will probably continue with this flooring throughout the rest of our boat. Love it!

Looks good, not durable
Good look for cheap but mostly for decorative use. Tore easily when setting normal tackle box in Jon boat. Color is great but slightly darker than pictures. Cuts easy acts like a giant sticker with backing. Adhesive is weak.

Centurion avalanche
I changed out my carpet for these. The prepping was simple especially since I have fiberglass floors. Just clean, alcohol, and slap on ----- To cut. I used cardboard paper to make stencils then used that as a guide outside the boat to make perfect cuts. It worked like a charm. Installing was easy after that . No more carpet and it looks so nice plus resistant to water and slickproof. --- I did use a extra adhesive spray so it won't come off easily. Not sure if necessary but it never hurts.
