Very surprised by the quality and fit. I gpt a 3XL and it didnt run small like most online cosplays do. Fit like a glove and super well made with sturdy fabric and double stitching. I would 100% recomend.

Fantastic quality, lined and well made. This is an excellent reproduction of Han Solo's vest from A New Hope. Its very comfortable and all the pockets are functional.

I have researched a lot of Han Solo vests and I'm glad I settled on this one. This is a well made vest and is quite screen accurate. The stitching is good and it is solidly built. It is lightweight but not a flimsy, paper-thin garment you typically think of with costume clothing. Its quality makes it good for everyday wear. So far this is the best Han Solo vest within the 'affordable' category.The material is a lightweight, cotton twill. The product description says, 'cotton canvas' but it is not canvas. It is a twill weave, which is what Han Solo's vest should be anyway. The tag on the inside of the vest says, '100% polyester' but that might refer to the vest's polyester lining. The actual shell of the vest feels like cotton. As mentioned before the vest is fully lined with a polyester satin.All the pockets are functional including the large cargo pocket on the lower back. The four, front pockets are gusseted for extra expansion. There are no pockets on the inside of the vest.There is no front closure on this vest; no zipper, no buttons, no velcro. Han Solo's movie vest is meant to be worn open with no closure so this vest stays true to that detail.Based on the sizing chart I fell on the border between x-small & small. I took a chance and ordered the x-small and I'm glad I did. I hope to shed some light on the measurements for others looking to buy this vest. Here are my body measurements:Gender: MaleHeight: 5'7Weight: 142 lbsChest: 40"Waist: 30"Body Type: Slim with lean, athletic buildVest Size: Extra SmallThis x-small vest fits slightly snug under my armpits but it is not tight or uncomfortable. The fit is fine everywhere else. I took accurate measurements of the vest and made a picture for those interested.The length of this vest is about 2 inches longer than the screen version of Han Solo's vest. Han's movie vest is short and doesn't reach his pant's belt but this vest ends at the bottom of my belt. However, you can fold the hem under itself and sew it shorter. That will shorten it by 1.5 inches.There is some confusion with other reviews as to whether the vest runs large or small. If you are on the border between sizes on the chart and unsure which size to get, this is my theory...If you are a slim / skinny / lean body type go for the smaller of the two size options. If you are bulky muscular / thicker / chubby go for the larger of the two size options. Hope this helps!
