CAPACITEA Boxed Loose Leaf Chinese Green Tea Flavoured with Jasmine Flowers, Fujian Sunflower Tea, Jasmine, 125 gram

Tea is bit weak hence 4* but taste and smell are just fantastic.I normally buy loose tea from the local Chinese shop in China Town but they done have this fab smell of Jasmine. Although bit more expensive then I normally pay (Extra 5 pounds for this bag of loose tea), it is still worth getting it for special times.

Is the best value of all loose jasmine teas.

Updated: April 2023. This works great if you blend it 50:50 with another green tea eg. "Sunflower Jasmine Tea, 227 g" - gives a perfect balance of fragrance+tea.Original review: Not bad but the jasmine scent is so strong that I actually wondered whether the product had been contaminated with washing up liquid as you're basically drinking a perfumed infusion rather than green tea with a hint of jasmine (which is what jasmin tea should be like).If you end up buying this but not liking it, I suggest mixing it 50:50 with Sunflower Jasmine Tea, 227 g (green box) that Amazon also sell as that is very green tea dominant with not much jasmine scent.

This tea has a strong jasmine scent/taste and is ideal to have with Chinese food. As it is about half the price of comparable tea, it is excellent value for money.

I’m annoyed with this because I’ve had it on subscription and it is repeatedly interrupted because of being unavailable - and they don’t let you know. The taste is not the best but I use a lot every day so can only afford this. I haven’t found the Sunflower brand in this size which would be better.

Delicious and no extra packaging

Like thus green teas as not added much addictive and has naturally flavour.

This "jasmine tea" is perfumed so much that when you opening a packet a whole room is start to smell like a jasmine blossom air refresher. The taste of a brew is artificial and unpleasant with oily aftertaste.
