Replaced my gen 1 telo that I've had for ages, quick and easy to replace and love the flexibility
Great price, and just wanted to replace my old gen 1 as the case had a gel type rubber on the top that was breaking down and wanted to replace it. Easy to swap just had to call tech support to do so and give them the MAC and activation code and they swapped it and activated in the back end with my current account.Ooma has been great, I also moved recently and my phone just comes with me.

Difficult Wi-Fi setup but proven method
I was able to use the Ooma app and link the device to my network using the WIRED connection with no issue. There was an issue connecting the device to my Wi-Fi. The device didn’t seem to like the Wi-Fi password. I made a simple password on my network but no change. I removed the password and the device connected. The device didn’t like WPA2. I reduced security settings until the device was able to connect to the network.Suggestion: Create a GUEST network for just the Ooma and reduce the security so that the network is still password protected.

Cost effective way to provide a telephone line
Our new intercom system requires a dedicated phone line. Other solutions required a monthly fee, so purchased and installed Ooma Telo Air 2 and it's working very well. The device is on the first floor and my Wifi is on the third floor and it connects with no issue and provides high quality audio. Would definitely recommend.

Purchased for Grandma
I purchased this for my Gram to save her some money. Our local cable company increased the rates recently for everything, phone/tv/internet and the worst part is they are the only company around until I did some research... I found tmobile home internet would work from her home at a faster speed and at only $30 a month then Tmobile had a promo for home phone through ooma for free just pay taxes and for TV tmobile had a promo for PhiloTV. So her bill went from $188 a month for all basic tv, phone, internet down to $55 a month! The only complaint is the OOMA Wifi is a little wonkey, hard to connect and every few weeks would disconnect. Rebooting fixes but I ended up hard wiring it since I didn't know if it was the Tmobile Wifi not working well with OOMA or it was the OOMA box with the issue.Anyways she is happy, especially with saving $1600 a year!

Better than i expected
Unit came boxed well not in original, but a plain white box packaged well. item is like new not a scratch on it and all parts where there never opened. Hooked up unit very quickly and no issues. chatted with Ooma customer support and wait time was one minute and quick. question was about premier service free for one month. calls are crystal clear no lag time. Hooked up to 5g Wi-Fi so far very happy with this purchase.

Really poor customer service
I was using this to replace an older tello. The instructions said call customer care to do the swap. Friday, I called customer care and was told that the people who took care of that were all busy and someone would call me back in 24 - 48 hours. I said "you want me to be without my phone for two days because everyone is busy?". She then told me someone was available and transferred me to Morgan. After giving the info to Morgan, she told me my problem needs to be handled by an engineer because they had a problem internally. I asked; was the problem because I bought a renewed one from Amazon? She said it could be. She also said there were no "engineers" available. She said some one would get back to me on my cell phone in the next 24 - 48 hours. I never heard back from any one from Ooma. At 11:47 on Monday I got an email that my tello was up and running and the status of my problem was Closed. At this point I never got a call from Ooma and my wireless wasn't even connected. This necessitated another call to Ooma for help getting the wireless hooked up. I would have gotten rid of Ooma and gone to another voip provider but there aren't many other phone devices that hook up wirelessly.
